Our…read moregranddaughter spent all eight of her elementary and middle school years at Odyssey Day School and experienced tremendous success in every academic area. She's a high school student now and is in the top 10% of her class academically, thanks in part to the patient and knowledgeable staff who helped her work to her potential in a caring atmosphere. I've visited the school several time and can tell you what I've observed. Not only have the teachers at Odyssey provided resources to allow the students to learn and grow, but they guided them in positive ways and encouraged social awareness, something that's very important to our family. Their student workshops are interesting and well planned. My granddaughter had the opportunity to learn about photography, rocketry and textile arts, among other non-traditional subjects. We enjoyed visiting the school and socializing with other families during pot luck suppers, picnics and ice cream socials and the International Week festivities. We found Odyssey very affordable thanks to financial aid, but even if we hadn't qualified, we would have found a way to send her to Odyssey. All in all, five stars.

My hesitance to return to work and separate from my infant was quickly resolved after meeting the caring teachers at ABB. After 5 years of experience with this school I can confidently say that they provide a safe and loving environment. Not to mention the quality of education is unmatched. I've been told by our pediatrician that both of my boys are meeting their developmental milestones at an advanced rate, despite my oldest son experiencing a late start with his speech skills. His attentive teachers were quick to identify this milestone delay and offered various resources tailored to his needs. Thanks to ABB's dedicated staff my son was able to build a large vocabulary, read, and write by the age of 4! We couldn't have overcome this delay without ABBs skilled and diverse team. Their curriculum also enables children to exercise independence, kindness, and respect. I can't even count how many times I've been pleasantly surprised by my sons initiative to attempt self care tasks and display manners (unprompted!). ABB also prioritizes community involvement. Not only do they host multiple food drives/fundraisers, but my personal favorite is when the local fire department comes to introduce themselves to the kids and teach fire safety. My kids loved it too! ABB has continued to exceed my expectations despite COVID-19's relentless obstacles. The classrooms are always kept clean and organized. My children don't suffer from any food allergies but I do notice that ABB takes allergen exposure precautions very seriously. I cannot say enough good things about this school. I hardly write reviews but Goddard at Saugus…read moredeserves to be recognized. My son attended Goddard from Sept 2017 until recently. When we started at the school, he had difficulties forming clear sentences. Now he can clearly communicate, knows his alphabets and numbers (in sign language as well), and started doing simple maths! The facility and curriculum are fantastic. The teachers are wonderful and Mr. Dave (owner) and Ms. Shannon (director) are great. Everyone takes such good care of the school. The owner is almost always on site and very responsible to any inquiries and emails. Even the families that have their kids enrolled there are amazing. My son became good friends with all his classmates and loved attending playdates and birthday celebrations. Unfortunately, our family relocated to a different state so my son had to leave. He still asks to go back to this school to see his friends and his favorite teacher Ms. Bopha! Thank you Goddard Saugus for the wonderful experience for my son and family!

Failure to follow rules and regulations - custody orders when they were explicitly informed. Too expensive. Other daycares provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks free of charge (through state program) sunblock, wipes, AND ALL their teachers go through annual accreditation/are certified. Bridge provides nothing. On top of the high costs you supply snacks water lunch diapers wipes sunblock everything. They implemented set schedules so if you do part time you are forced to do certain days vs other places where YOU CHOOSE THE DAYS THAT WORK BEST FOR YOUR FAMILY. Other daycares use apps to communicate daily no matter what age your child is sending daily updates and a photo. Bridge uses Brightwheel just for the babies and you only receive diaper change and bottle feed updates. They send out nasty grams aka rude emails frequently which is unprofessional and unwarranted - Talking about the snow and wanting to close early and during summer they want to give their teachers time off to spend with their own kids. Worded poorly not a good look or feel. A plus is some of the teachers seem great and they do a lot of artwork.
