Dr. Pedlow talked through my treatment plan with me and answered all my many questions. His office was able to get my insurance to approve the surgery. I found everyone I spoke to at the office to be clear and very helpful, especially Maria. His office made it easy for me to get pain medication when I went off oral steroids. We also tried the lumbar steroid shot but it did not work for my pain. Pre-op, I was only able to be comfortable bent over a surface on my elbows and knees. I can now walk and sit without pain. Dr. Pedlow has given me back my life.

Went to the Emerson Physical Therapy center for a 12 session course for my tendonitis. I picked…read moreEmerson because it was close to work and my PCP. Not a good decision! Thought it was just for 6 weeks, I was assigned 3 different therapists, each handling me for not more than 2 weeks because the first two were leaving the practice and they couldn't accommodate me otherwise. So, I was put through 3 different treatment styles and exercises at the end of all of which I made ZERO progress with my condition. In fact on the contrary the condition worsened, which according to the orthopaedic specialist was because of some of the exercises that had been recommended. Filing a poor service complaint with the insurance company proved useless since they didn't share any specifics of the follow-up they did with Emerson other than stating that they weren't happy with their service. Very disappointing!
