Walking up on it, it seemed like a huge rose-colored Rock sugar sucker. The base is surrounded with flowers and benches to sit near by. It's simple yet beautiful. The little ladies walking by had to stop and touch the glass. It's inviting. I love little artistic surprises that show up in cities and towns as you walk around. Greenville has so many wonderful qualities all over town. I've enjoyed my short visit and look forward to next time.

There is a beautiful waterfall with a water area that you can swim in warmer months. An historic mill provides a nice flavor of previous times in the area. There are some trails in which you can walk around and enjoy the stream beauty. This is also great spot for a nice run. It is clean, well-maintained, and there are two really nice scenic overlooks. There are a few picnic areas.

We went with some friends to check out this event, Metalmorphosis @ Whitehall with CSO Roadshow (and food trucks). What a fun idea! Surprisingly, it wasn't packed when we first got there, but gradually all the seats filled up. First of all, the Metal head was working (which is dicey!)...Thank God! I did wonder why it couldn't spew water from its mouth. THAT would be so spectacular! Still, the head did spin around, and segment into different pieces too. So amazing! It made a great backdrop for the CSO roadshow, which featured many pop songs over the decade. Surprisingly good...even for cheesy numbers like "Living La Loca" and "YMCA"!! The funny thing is...this corporate park is located near the airport, so there were many, many planes that flew over during the concert. Luckily, we were still able to hear the orchestra pretty good. The food truck was a bit disappointing though. Only 3 vendors...and the vendor we chose (King of Fire) was so slow, I almost gave up! More on that on another review. The sculpture looked so out of place...too majestic for such a common corporate park. In any case, I took several pictures of the sculpture this time. Hope they feature many more events here in the future.

It was a bit of a drive to get here and the sculpture is located tucked away around some office buildings. The day we came it was empty and we had the whole grounds to ourselves except for security, lol. This sculpture is really cool and I liked how it rotated around. It was really awesome to see how someone's vision can come to life with determination.

We met the owner, she explained the history and gave us a detailed tour of the farm. As we walked, she us gave info on the animals, detailed signs are on the fence for more info. They have once a month on Saturday vendors are selling diff goods, on Saturday. The farm store has food & items you can purchase on site. We got to feed the animals, received a cute little hand knitted puppet and did a scavenger hunt for all. The tasting of rabbit and fresh chicken was a special treat! They are listed in the SC Algritourism passport, so don't forget to get your stamp at each farm. This is something I will participate for yrs to come. We fed them fruit and veggies and learned about the different animals. I sampled their farm's rabbit and chicken, which were so tasty, I ended up buying a rabbit to try cooking at home. Their farm store sells quail, cheeses, farm fresh eggs, quail eggs, butter, spices, and a number of alpaca fiber goods. I LOVED the finger puppets. They were so soft and so cute! There was also a scavenger hunt that I didn't get a chance to finish, because I had to go, but The Alpaca Experience is definitely a great way to start a Saturday! They are listed in the SC Agritourism passport, so you can earn a stamp while you're here! I got mine!

I highly recommend you pull off here, grab a drink, sit in one of their chairs and soak in the view. This is definitely a hidden gem as you can not tell from the road how nice this place is. I was clued in somewhat wryly by a Gaffney native that this is the thing to see in the area. It is…read moreindeed a water tower that looks like a peach. Given the way it's angled, the leaf at the top is hard to see, and from the angles you'd likely be looking at it from, you might think it looks like something other than a peach. There is a restaurant next door which as of this writing is defunct. There's not much else nearby, but the couple of parking spots and small park set up around the peachoid make it clear that it's here to be visited. There are a few fruit trees, including some peaches, though the fruit appeared to have a high rate of getting hit by various blights. Natural part of a tropical climate I guess, but not an inspiring sight.
