I was able to find a bunch of plants I liked and the prices seemed so reasonable (I live in Philly so maybe I'm used to higher prices). I think the 2 gal plants were about $13 and the 1 gal were about $8. The small 4 pack of plugs were $2.79 each or $19.99 for an entire flat! All workers indoors were wearing masks and they even loaded the soil right into my vehicle for me.

I knew it was a groundwater problem and wanted to fix the root cause. Seth came out, looked over the property, took measurements, and came up with several different options. He ended up regrading my entire front and side yards, installing a French drain system and basin drain, and cut swales into my side and back yards. He was professional throughout the entire process. I don't think I saw him stop for a minute during the four days he was at my house. He's an extremely skilled equipment operator. I was impressed by how quickly and precisely he worked, even with a mess of old tree roots and large stones in the yard. He cleaned up at the end of each day, and there was never a mess left behind. While Seth was working at my house, my neighbor came over to talk with him and ended up hiring him for some dirt work. I also referred him to my sister. They were both very happy with his pricing and the quality of his work. The water issue in my garage and basement was completely resolved. My basement has stayed bone dry for the past two years, and my dehumidifier hardly ever runs anymore. Prior to his work it ran nonstop, almost daily. About a year later, I had Seth back to fix an erosion issue on a steep bank. He had it regraded and looking perfect in just an afternoon. I have a few other projects planned for next year, and I'll be hiring Black Rock again without question.

I was stuck and I needed someone to take care of my lawn while I was away. After you pay him, he'll do one lawn mow, then he'll tell you that he needs more money, due to the increased price of gas and oil. And then, he just keeps blowing you away and lies to you incessantly. You're not going to get your money back, and he'll just keep on giving you bullshit lies and excuses why he can't come to your property that day and do the work you paid him to do. He keeps promising to do the job "later today", or "tomorrow". This game goes on each and every day. I am sick of chasing him down constantly to mow the lawn. He gives endless excuses and lies. The guy is a fraud and a thief. I am going to report him and bring him to small claims court.
