In February my husband accepted a job with a company in Atlanta, so our family was going to be relocating from Milwaukee, WI. We knew we were going to need help finding our new home. We were referred to Molly Edwards with the Peters Company. We reached out to Molly mid to late February once we had an idea of when we would initially come out to start looking. She was super responsive from the get go. We gave her some general areas we were looking at as well as some of our requirements for a home. We came out to Atlanta the first week in March and we met with Molly prior to going to look at houses. She took the time to make us aware of some of the more Georgia specific items in terms of purchasing a home. Once we were all up to speed, we headed out to our showings. We first worked with The Peters Company in 2011 in buying our house and were very impressed by their professionalism, responsiveness, and integrity. The market wasn't great at the time for selling property, so rather than selling our condo, we rented it out for a few years. We kept in touch with The Peters Company on the state of the market, and finally in 2015 decided with their guidance that it would be a good time to list. Selling a property is a multi stage process, and Andy and his team were there to help us navigate through every decision. This involved walking the property to assess what needed to be fixed/refreshed, making recommendations on paint colors, referring us to vendors, getting the property professionally photographed, evaluating comps and setting a fair market price.
