Stay far, far, far away from this place. I don't know how there are legitimate 5 Star reviews here…read morebecause my experience was so bad and so disturbing I almost filed a complaint with the city. I made an appointment three weeks in advance for an intake and an Abangha massage, received paperwork, filled it out, had my appointment confirmed. Showed up on the day of the appointment and the practice was closed, no one there. After 20 minutes I called the practice and the "doctor" answered, said she had no knowledge of our appointment (again, I have emails from her confirming) and that she will take a cab to come in, be there in 5-10 minutes. 35-minutes later she arrives. We go into her office, she tells me the massage part will be postponed for the next week. Okay, fair enough, she's killed an hour of our time already. As the session begins she does claims all my emails and info are in her spam box so she has no background on me. She then insists on conducting the appointment without masks on, which is VERY illegal. I thought she was doing this so that she could do vitals but guess what, she never does vitals: no pulse nor tongue checks nor any intake information of my body at all. The next 70- minutes are spent with her doing a pseudo-psychic, astrological reading of me where she spends the time saying that I need to divorce my wife and get my own place and that when I leave my wife that all my health concerns will vanish (which are real, documented, rare diseases that is see a team of doctors and specialists at Mt Auburn for), that they are in my head (so 170+ tumors are all in my head), and once I am free of my wife and change my attitude that I will mysteriously be healed. We spend no time on diet, my diagnosis, my lifestyle, she never looks at my body, though she makes lots of judgements on my visible tattoos and she concludes that the only people with tattoos are mentally ill. Our session ends in the middle of one of her long ramblings as a new patient arrives. She promises to send me follow up reading, pamphlets, videos (which she never does), and then collects $100 from me for services she never provides. Having lived in India and having worked with Ayurvedic doctors and practitioners in the past this is nothing like I've ever experienced before. This is the very opposite of what Ayurvedic medicine, any medicine, she represent and people like this should not be able to practice. Avoid this fake doctor and her damaging practice.

I've met with Mona three times. I realized during our first Zoom consultation in March that she was…read morespecial-- different from other practitioners I've seen in the past. The work she put into her very detailed 12-page Wellness Report that followed our discussion was beyond my expectations. I slowly started to incorporate her suggestions and began feeling a physical and psychological change within a few weeks. When I was fully vaccinated I visited Mona in person for abhyanga and champi treatments. So far I have had two sessions. Mona's massage technique got my body moving again after the side effects of my sedentary lifestyle due to covid. Her oils are calming which is a nice complement to the peaceful awakening of my energy and muscle movement. I'm thrilled to be enjoying continual vitality after each treatment. The lingering energetic aspect is something I haven't experienced before. It's a wonderful benefit that has changed my outlook on life. I feel alive again and calm. Day by day, I am working my way back to the active lifestyle my body, mind, and soul have missed over the past year and a half. Mona has lived an Ayurvedic life since she was a child. She warmly radiates her compassion to help people. Sharing her wealth of experience and knowledge to assist people to live their life with happiness is her heartfelt reward. I highly recommend Eternal Healing Ayurveda. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with Mona.

I'll start from the beginning…read more Note: as standard protocol with all professionals I interact with, all email, texts, documents, pdfs., and notes from sessions and in between communication are kept on file. I found Nina's work online from her website. It included a statement of services offered. We met via an initial discovery call where I explained my symptoms at the time and how we would approach that. Specifically, the response was a dietary/nutrition plan amongst other lifestyle changes that can help mitigate what was later Vata-Pitta imbalance. During this call, she offered a 30% discount off the full price package of $290 for three sessions. At the first in person meeting, I was charged the full price. I was also also promised Chrysanthemum tea that would help as a cooling effect (since Vata-Pitta) is an excess of wind-heat from what was explained. That was never followed through. She did offer me a jar of triphala however which I took home for bowel movement regulation. At the second meeting (via Zoom), we spent about an hour or so going through my weekly food intake, including current supplements. Additionally, two documents were sent: (1) Vata-Pitta-Kapha general list of foods (2) List of recommended foods for Vata-Pitta imbalance. It includes her personal recommendations (i.e. swap out harder cheeses for softer ones like mozzarella.) At the third meeting (via Zoom) again, she asks for my blood work results. Strange as they're typically asked for during the first session. My health history form was also given to her in person at our initial consultation. What transpired after is quite tedious to get into. But I said, explicitly, I intend to not continue due to budgeting reasons. The dialogue went on for several pages (via email.) And it's clear that "no" was neither understood nor respected. The icing on the cake was when I told her a final time, "I'm all set." via email Friday. Four days later (Tuesday), she texts and emails me unsolicited messages and documents. It was uncomfortable. I notified what happened to two other professionals. It was unacceptable. It's unfortunate too that responses to client feedback is as such: (as per responses below and on other review platforms.) Responses to customer feedback as such, wherein, "no nutritional services" are offered is interesting given the nature of things discussed during my three sessions. If that's how some people prefer to engage with customers, that's their choice. In any case, it doesn't change anything. This is an honest recount of my experience.
