We went back today for an anniversary coffee and treat to celebrate and the service was abysmal. We called over the server and ordered coffee, tea and a treat. He was friendly at first. We ordered in Dutch and English. He understood and went quickly to take another order from another table and seemed to chat with them for a long time. Then he disappeared. Then came back and went speaking with every table. Other tables were getting their drinks although they had come after us. I just thought our order took longer. Besides, on their menu it says not to rush and they aren't pushy. We waited and looked at the book collection they had. After a long time, I decided to check one of the pictures I took of the menu to see what time I took it. 30 minutes had past since I took a picture. We sat and sat then finally said let's go home and make our own tea and coffee. We left and on our way out we let them know we weren't happy. The server said, "oops I forgot to put it in the computer." he was too busy walking around chatting to others to not have a clue we were sitting and waiting. They gave us a 2.50€ coupon for next visit. I don't think I will go back. He ruined a celebration and broke a future tradition.

There is a selection of crepes, galettes and croques (never knew there was a difference) but also cakes and pies available. The pies and cakes are freshly baked so when you can get them before they're out of stock you're in luck. I chose a galette with cheese and bacon and I must say it was very good! Can't wait to go back to try the other crepes!
