Park like sh!t, block residents in, play loud buttrock while they are pretending to work, leave debris and trailers full of debris blocking parking spots for days after the job is 'complete', no respect for the people who live at job sites. I can see why there may be a wait to get someone from LJ's to your project. It was worth it to get Chris to install some shelves in my kitchen, put on some cabinet doors and get our TV mounted. I know my husband and I could have done the TV, but since we needed help on the others we decided to get the pro to do that, too. The office communicated well on our timeline. Chris called ahead that morning to verify he would be there on time, which is always appreciated. The shelves were a bit of an unconventional install, as they were made custom, sight (and site!) unseen, and were dado type so had to be placed perfectly otherwise the wouldn't slide on. He was very careful with measurements, looked things over carefully before proceeding, then got things done correctly. He was also great with the cabinet doors, taking a lot of time until they were exactly even. The TV wall mount was done in about a tenth of the time we would have taken. It sounds like if you give a good description of what you need done when you call in to get on schedule, the best person for the job can be assigned. I'm already lining up other projects now that I've found a group I have confidence in hiring. Good work from a local business is worth the wait. read more

Everything started out fabulously. Jackson arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. Later that day, he called to clarify some details and said I'd have the quote "shortly." Several weeks later, I reached out to the company via their website to ask about timing for the quote and immediately I received a very apologetic response from Britany who thanked me for my patience and said she had reached out to Jackson for an update. A week later, I received a call from "LJ's Handyman Service," no name given and I neglected to ask, who said my quote was one of two he was working on and I'd have it in a week or so. This was nearly 8 weeks ago and no word. Back to the drawing board. read more
