While trying to decide if I should replace my carpet I visited a flooring store in Lynden, WA. Their sales representative advised if I decided not to buy new carpet I could just clean the old and the best local place was Northwest Professional Services. I made an appointment and met Jim, who arrived on time. He reviewed my carpet issues, made several suggestions, which I approved, and went to work on some old pet stains. We recently moved into a home that we had inspected and were told by the inspector that the duct work system was in serious need of cleaning. Since I have asthma and multiple allergies, we needed to get this taken care of in a timely manner. Our realtor recommended Northwest Professional Services, which she has used multiple times in the past. NPS was able to work us in quickly. We also added cleaning of the dryer vent. The two technicians that NPS sent over to do the cleaning were obviously very experienced and highly skilled. After a quick review of the location of the vents and furnace, they went right to work and appeared to be very thorough in their cleaning efforts. I observed their work the best I could and was highly pleased with all of it. I look forward to continuing to use NPS for our duct and dryer vent cleaning on an ongoing basis. The cost was also very reasonable, and we were pleased with that as well. Ren and Harry came in to pick up and clean our blinds which were very dirty and damaged from a previous tenant. They were very professional, and let us know that some damage did occur on the blinds while cleaning. We are so thankful that they did the blinds in one day. They cleaned out the dryer duct, which the exit vent is located on the roof. They were quick and did a great job.

Levi and Wren came to do our duct cleaning. They are incredibly professional and good that their job. Our old furnace was a challenge for them but they figured out a " work around" quickly went to work cleaning our ducts and our dryer vent. Very seldom do I meet such professional workers. J handled our mitigation and was incredibly hardworking, thorough with every single explanation, patient with every single question and a wealth of knowledge. We had the most amazing experience by calling Northwest Professional Services for mold remediation and renovation. The first step in the process was mold remediation. This was handled in a thorough and efficient manner as expected. The big game changer was the work completed by Tristan Isely and Josh Hinojosa who handled the drywall work, installed new baseboards and painting. The new drywall was absolutely seamless, could not tell where the old drywall met the new. We asked that the entire bathroom be painted and the work was effortless and clean. These two were professional, friendly and kept us posted on their schedule. Above and beyond, they identified a mistake made by a previous cabinet installer that could have cost us a mint-- a screw was inserted into the sewer stack. Once this was repaired by a plumber, Tristan and Josh worked effortless to complete the job. The bathroom looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier. read more

They bailed me out the last time my dog puked everywhere last year and did a great job. This time, my same dog pooped everywhere and they came out same day in emergency status to help keep my carpets clean! Since they were here already......I also had them replace a square section of carpet that some spilled nail polish ruined and they just used my excess in the garage and once completed you couldn't tell the difference. They also while here replaced a transition strip in my living room that kept popping out. I love that they did all these things as fast as possible since I was paying hourly and the same day. Jim called me 53 minutes (exactly) before scheduled appointment time to ask if he could arrive early. Unheard of! He worked quickly and efficiently to clean my carpeted stairs and hallway. He was wrapped up and pulling out of my driveway at the originally scheduled appointment time, while my 14-year-old carpet looked almost as good as new. No complaints here. read more

This review is a year overdue, but I am determined to complete this task, because I was so deeply impressed by their services. In May 2016, we were moving after five years in our Fairhaven condo. I needed someone to clean the carpets, tile, and grout, and also, someone to give the entire unit (1,625sq) a deep clean overall. What a result! Not only was Northwest extremely professional, but they did a very thorough job. Misty's team handled the house cleaning, and Kyle's team handled the carpets and tile the following day. Each team was spectacular. I could not get over the attention to detail, and I am a very detail-oriented person. I am rarely satisfied by cleaning services and often find myself having to clean areas they neglected. Not here. It was perfection from top to bottom. They even found a way to remove small stains that had been there since before we moved in! Truly, this is the best company of its kind in Whatcom County (and perhaps Skagit, too), and I just wish they could clean our place in California! I live in NYC and needed help in Point Roberts, WA. Not too many businesses will make the trek. My last renter left my house in a bad state. J and I spoke on the phone, he returned my calls, emailed me when he said he would - I was pleased with his attention to detail and was thrilled he agreed to have his team drive from Lynden to Point Roberts to help clean my nasty, dirty house. The team of 2 arrived at my house as scheduled and spent the day cleaning all my tile, grout, slate, door jams, carpet, air ducts, vents, dryer, furnace and every single blind on every single window! The guys took the time to work on a few stains on the carpet (engine grease) and tile (glue and acrylic), over and over. As I was not present on the day after the cleaning, J and I talked on the phone and he gave me a play-by-play recap of what took place. My neighbor had let the guys in to do the cleaning job and raved about their work ethic and attention to detail. I have since been to my house and I have to tell you the house looks brand new (and it was a mess).Thank you for all your help and great business sense. This company is exemplary in the way it treats its customers. A few years back, we suffered a disastrous frozen pipe in our condo which resulted in a burst pipe that caused severe flooding in our condo. From the first contact to the end, J Young and Doug Boersma were professional in the way they returned our unit to better than new.
