I walked in for a mani-pedi. Only one client was in the salon. I picked out a color, and was asked whether I wanted gel. I said NO, just a plain pedicure with polish, and a manicure with clear polish. The attendant asked me multiple times if I wanted a pedicure with rocks, with special lotion, extended massage, etc. I continually said no, just a plain pedicure. The woman next to me in the chair asked about a CBD pedicure, so then my attendant started pushing me to get a CBD pedicure since I was getting ready for leg surgery. After multiple times, I finally gave in and got the CBD pedicure. It was nothing special. At the end of the pedicure, my attendant got up and handed me off to another attendant and went to service someone else, and the new attendant put a board across my lap and started soaking my fingers. i SAID JUST A PLAIN MANICURE WITH CLEAR POLISH. The attendant did a rush job and didn't even take all the polish off my fingers, and just polished over them. I felt like all they were doing was trying to get more money from the services and did not do quality work. I ended up paying $92 for a fair Mani-pedi. I left a 10 dollar tip, but maybe I should have given the first attendant a Oscar for her award winning upsale role. I also was charged a #2.40 surcharge for using my credit card. If I could 0 star this, I would. I went into LL nails today to get an acrylic set today at 12:30, for seated right away and she was doing my nails until 2:30. So I thought I was going to get some quality service. However that were very rough and cut me multiple times. However Once I left my nails looked horrible. They were multiple different shapes and lengths. They looked horrible. I called and explained to them what was wrong and they told me to come back in for them to fix it. Once I came back in they were very rough, and rude. Saying that I couldn't get the shape I wanted. They ended up making them looked decent however once I got home I noticed that the acrylic was lifting off of my natural nails. I am not happy. The staff was rude and need better training. Spending a week on the beautiful white sand beaches of Florida's Gulf Coast is an amazing experience. From hanging out on the beach at Caladesi to kayaking the Weeki Wachee to enjoying all sorts of amazing local delicacies, it's a beautiful place to visit. And the warm November weather is a nice plus, too. But all of this activity and traveling took a toll on my feet, and today I found myself desperately craving a pedicure! A local friend recommended LL Nails, an unassuming little place in a strip mall next to Publix. We arrived during a quiet afternoon so they were able to get us right in. They have several different options for pedi's, ranging from $20 on up. They gave us a menu of choices with the options and prices clearly marked - something I really appreciate. We chose the $25 Active Basic option which included nail shaping, cuticle trim, hot towel wrap, callous treatment, a mint sea salt scrub massage, and of course polish. They also offer full waxing services, so I had my brows done too. I left feeling much more glamorous than I did when I got there. Now if only I could find somewhere to make my hair look better in this crazy humidity! read more

2/7/20. Look for this shop in the Publix shopping plaza in a small strip mall. Was told the location has had same owner for 20yrs. Stopped in as walk-in for pedicure. Seemed to be adequate staffing for workload with appointments and walk-ins. Four massage pedicure chairs, and three (?) nail stations. Television in view with caption on. Super selection of services. Was able to discuss options and prices before jumping right in. I decided on basic pedicure with nail trim, filing, scrub, wrap, polish for $25. Tony did my toes and tech Cat answered my random questions regarding other services and types of manicures. The techs talked with the patrons, not amongst themselves. No cell phones lying around. Pedi was efficient. I do think my toenail ends are cut at a slight angle that seems odd to me. I also would have liked the cuticles prepped more and pushed back -- it seems I may have to go in quicker for refresh, although he said 3 weeks. This seems to be the standard answer for "how long will this hold up?" A bit crowded in the area of the front desk/check out area. Everyone was super friendly and this is a laid-back atmosphere. I personally am not comfortable in some high end snooty place, LOL. Will go again, and will mention my slight concerns. read more

Extremely disappointed in the services I recieved today. I am a regular customer here. Today, i received the worst pedicure that I've ever had. Ever. I made an appointment earlier this week for both a mani\pedi and my daughter to have a full set. All three services with gel polish. I even requested a higher end pedicure (40 plus gel totaling 60$$). The technician was "training" which I was ok with until she was hurting my toes, skipping steps in the pedicure, and not providing the pedicure I requested. I had to remind her of certain steps that she forgot but she didn't speak English. Don't you have to go to school and be licensed for this? Did she not have "training" there? Concerning. Anyway, once we got to the polish part, she did a horrible job and the owner had to finish. At this point, im upset. No massage. No hot towel. No paraffin wax. Nothing in my package. I asked for the polish to be finished and to leave. The most disappointing part of this review is I was charged full price. 40 dollars. Oh but I can get a discount next time. Im sorry, there certainly won't be a next time. This is unethical business practices. If your customer is dissatisfied with your services, then discount it. And as i sat and waited for my daughter to finish, they put another customer in the same chair as me WITHOUT SANITIZING THE FOOT BOWL. Not even a wipe out! the prices are high for below average work. the spa experience is lost with so many male technicians. it seems they need to be taught what it means to be pampered , afterall this a luxury and not a necessity. we do it to feel and look good. if your not getting a relaxing experience and your feet and hands are left dry and don't look to be expertly done. then why waste the 100.00 plus dollars charged for something as simple as a mani/pedi. in addition; communication is nonexistent. i get that english is a second language but luann the owner speaks well enough to ask clients what they would like done and how. ensure your employees know how to do all the nail techniques you list. provide color pictures with written descriptions so you won't have to. then make sure your employees know their profession. ive been there too many times where the technician couldnt do what i wanted. teach them how to do ombré color with the dip please. give better leg and hands massages. provide warm towels , make sure your customer has service right out the door. unbeknoweth to me, i was rudely left to dry with slippers on while my tech started another client. i waited for him to come back to remove the store slippers and replace them with my thong sandals, walk me up to pay as usual. my tech came over says you can go, not helping me with the sponges left between my toes, shoe replacement, nothing. you tell me, are we expected to tip? read more

So, my gel polish lifted and I just wanted to get the polish removed(what was left of it) and get new polish. They charged me 23.00. I am so confused because an acrylic fill in only cost 18.00 plus the 5.00 for gel =23.00. Then she said if I got the fill in plus the gel polish, it would have been 30.00! 30.00 for a fill with gel. Wow. Completely not the price posted. How does it go from 18.00 to 30.00. Also, it's not even a good polish job. All in all, I got played! I'm 17 and the male nail tech made me uncomfortable saying very sexual things about the way I look and how I should come and stay with him. aside that he did my nails the wrong color. Horrible experience!!! I took a special needs friend of mine for a pedicure, manicure and polish. The place was over crowded and hot so I had to wait outside. With tip the total was $96! The staff did not attempt to talk to my friend, put the color sample thing on her table and said "pick". This was her first time and she was very confused and uncomfortable. They trimmed her nails way too short and the paint job was very bad, did not look professional at all. The entrance was packed with people waiting for their appointment times to be honored, the place was hot, felt dirty and a very unwelcoming environment. Very messy around cuticles, one of my nails is crooked I could've done a better job painting them myself. I was also way over charged. I was told $21 and ended up being charged $37. Think I'm just spoiled from living in the city. Had a mani/pedi. Walked out $90 lighter after tip. Not worth it at all. Will never return. My nail tech was technically good. The utensil sterile bags' indicator was not showing. This means instruments not sterile. Barbicide and soap/water is not in the blood born pathogens standard for sterilization of contaminated instruments. A small target fan to dry my nails between coats of polish?
