They always seem to have a smile for you and definitely know what they are doing. (Nothing worse than PO staff who don't seem to know much ...) They have a fairly good selection of stationary items and cards compared with a lot of other smaller post offices. Highly recommended. :)

The owners are friendly and helpful and the Post Office is stocked with everything you could ask a Post office to have. There is access to a Photocopying machine. There is also a Christmas saving scheme which enables you to make regular deposits towards vouchers at Christmas. The branch also employs a full time financial specialist who can explain the intricacies of the many Post Office financil products which are also available and include ISAs, credit cards, foreign cash cards, travelers cheques, current accounts and savings accounts.

The first guy I met was not very nice and I could sense he wasn't going to be helpful from his tone. He kept going on about how it was impossible to take my passport photo et al and even after I told him the only other option was in Manchester, he still said it was not possible. I got very frustrated and left the building. I went to cool off for about an hour and came back to the post office to see another attendant, his name tag was "Brian". He offered to help and I was done and dusted with the whole process in a matter of minutes. I don't know the first guys name but he was a little chubby, I won't be going to him in the future; all I can say is "Thank God for Brian", he was really kind and i'ld recommend going to him any day.
