I had previously been using a bigger company that specializes in radon and water and never received great service and always overpaid. You will not be disappointed by using this company. They are trustworthy and not going to add a bunch of unnecessary costs. Hard to find good companies now a days. Well worth giving them a call for water softener service.

We had been renting a water softener for over 24 years from Roger Garrett, This past March we had a…read moreproblem with the water. Chris came to the house and without doing anything, he diagnosed the problem to be our hot water heater. My wife had told Chris a plumber was just here the day before and said it was not the water heater. Chris then said okay, you need to replace a part on the water softebner and it may take up to two weeks to get the part and it would be approximately $1,200-$1,500. We said we don't own the softener we are only renting it. He said it does not matter, you will need to pay for the new part. We had the original rental agreement that was signed in 1994 and the parts and labor were covered under the rental agreement we said. Chris said no that's wrong. We told Chris do not order the part. We decided to replace/purchase a new water softener a few days later through our reliable and trustworthy plumber. The old water softener has remained in our basement since March. Roger or Chris have not hauled it away as called for in the rental agreement. I called Roger and Chris on August 10th.and Chris said he would pick up the softener the next day between 3:00 and 5:00. I took off work early so I could meet Chris at my home. Chris never showed up as promised and never called. Since that time, I called Roger twice and sent 3 text messages over the course of the next 9 days. Roger finally answered my last text & said they were very busy and would pick it up soon. Needless to say, I will never use Purely Water again and certainly would not recommend their services. Roger did not honor the rental agreement and has been very unresponsive. I certainly understand someone being busy but I also believe a simple pick up of equipment could have been completed sooner than 5 months and counting. Extremely unprofessional company! The basement remote well pump was running continuously and I turned it off to let it cool...big…read moremistake. I heard all the water in the pipes gurgle and gone. I tried to run the pump, to no avail, no water. I called our regular plumber, who took a few calls to get a reply around 8 p.m. After hearing the situation, they suggested D& L Pump. I called D&L and received an immediate call back from Ed who diagnosed it most likely a hole in the well pipe and agreed to come first thing in the morning. Ed arrived at 8 a.m. and located the well with a metal detector. He then dug down to confirm the location and said he would return by 1 with equipment to dig out and replace the damaged well pipe with a new submersible pump. He returned with his son, Austin, and Will who capably and professionally removed and replaced the well pipe and pump, in the rain, by 5:30. They are consummate professionals. I recommend them without hesitation.

His team showed up as promised, took care of the problem quickly, and their fee was less than I was expecting to pay for such a quick accommodation. FYI, D&L did the original installation of the well pump and retention tank when my house was built back in 1996, and we hadn't had any issues until last night. I highly recommend them; quality work. DO NOT USE CULLIGAN in SPARTA! They only have 1 day a week…read morethey can come to your house. So if you need a service, it's that day or NO day!! They will NOT help you and come a different day. For a 10 minute job, you have to take a full day off!! They refuse to come a different day, even though they are 6-10 miles from my house. Then they asked me, what days are best for you. I gave them the days my wife works from home. Or, any day after 3 pm. The salesman said this will work. What did they do next? Made the appointment for the day untold them NO one would or could be there. For a time NO one could!! I needed the service, so my daughter had to miss a day of school to stay home for them. It took the technician 10 minutes to service the RO system. That's it. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

When a water filtration system was needed, Culligan in Sparta beat the competition…read more Of three water filtration companies we researched, Culligan was the top choice. Why? The Culligan Rep. (Mr. Andy B.) was personable and professional in helping us assess the best filtration system available to us. He painstakingly detailed all the filtration options for us, and was patient and kind with our detailed questions. Andy, (and Culligan), were gracious through the product installation, and their staff has been available if we needed assistance with the product. As for the product itself, labs seem to indicate much of what we wanted filtered has been removed. (We can't say much more on water quality, jury's still out on that). However, Andy B. (and Culligan) helped provide us turnkey financing, and Mr. B. personally tested our water several times, at our request, before and after the system installation, to our satisfaction. Recent labs seem to indicate the filter's holding up after a year, which is a good thing. No other company offered such a product, while still providing filtration commensurate with the required standards. Mr. Andy B (and Culligan's) product technicians were prompt, respectful and thorough in their analysis of our water filtration concerns. You may pay more (in some cases). If you pay much less, you will likely not receive the accountable, respectful, professional service we received via Culligan and Mr. B. at their Sparta offices. We thank them.
