By the time they were done, I couldn't believe it was the same place. They were really meticulous about prep, removing light switches, window blind brackets, repairing nail holes and other wall damage. Rick suggested Behr's 'Swiss Coffee' which I got in a semi-gloss and it is a wonderful white that's warm, bright and not too stark. The job was started quickly and did not stop until finished to my satisfaction (no delays while they worked on other jobs). Rick's staff was polite, friendly and very accommodating. I hate…read moregiving such a low rating when the flooring installation was done quite satisfactorily, but they left such a mess in my garage and actually damaged the plumbing in my house and have never paid for the plumbing repair. They left my garage actually impassible, full of piles and piles of scraps of cut flooring material, mixed with mounds of flooring glue, numerous empty pizza boxes, soda containers, half empty trash bags (spilling open for the trash inside to join the rest of the mess), and many small mountains of sawdust. It took me days to clean it up. Also, I soon noticed that they had tiled over the clean-out drain in my laundry room so the clean-out was not usable. I asked them to come back and fix it, and Shawn Brown's son came back to trim the tile back from the clean-out, and while doing that he cut through the clean-out plug. I assume he must have known because he cut off a sizable chunk of black plastic. I asked to be reimbursed for the plumbers visit to fix that problem, and never got a response. Too bad that they have such horrible customer service and are so disrespectful to their customers because I am satisfied with the flooring installation. I actually gave them a sizable tip for getting done on schedule (more or less) but that was before I became aware of the mess they left behind or the plumbing issue. All in all, I can't give them more than 2 stars. Good flooring install but it's not acceptable to treat your customers like that.

I was so impressed with the prompt return call from Adam Copher to our first in-person meeting that I didn't even bother to get bids from other contractors. When I had questions about surface bullnose or metal trim, Adam graciously met me at the new tile supplier in Atascadero to show me the difference and explain the pros and cons of each choice. The tile installer, Manny, was a dream come true. He was polite, a perfectionist, and dedicated. At the end of each day, Manny was impeccable at cleaning up after a hard day of work. Adam checked in daily in person which was appreciated. It's no wonder this tile contractor has such awesome reviews. He deserves all the praise for running such a well-oiled company and having a skilled employee like Manny. My shower looks so good, and I love the new safety bars. All the guys were friendly and prompt. They were considerate and made sure to protect our flooring and belongings well. They were great about tolerating my curious kiddos and loud homeschooling. He always kept me informed, showed up on time and cleaned up afterwards. From thorough prep to finishing touches, I'm thrilled with the work. I had stock 10 year old light brown cabinets and Jim patiently helped me choose a lighter color adapting it when I thought it was too dark. All the cabinet doors and drawers were removed to be sanded, primed and painted with two coats at his workshop. Everything was labeled so the pieces fit in their original place after painting. Edges were carefully painted on site with no lingering odor. I was given a gallon of paint to keep on hand for the future. I smile every time I walk into the kitchen and even enjoy cooking more now.
