It has a really friendly feel to the place when you walk in, I assume with it being in a small town many of the clients are regulars and this warm welcome extends to all. The branch is well laid out and stocked with leaflets and the latest interest rates so you wouldn't necessarily have to see anyone for information though there is usually somebody at the welcome desk to help with any query you may have. I have always found the staff go out of their way to try and be helpful to you which is great.

I have (somewhat surprisingly) never had a bad experience in this bank. I am totally clueless about most things financial and the staff in here have always been helpful, informative and in no way patronising. Its clean and warm with all machines (apart from a coin counter) you could wish for. They supply mineral water and sporadically they have supplied coffee too. I rarely find it too busy and I have the patience of a small child so that's a feat in itself. Today my one year old went exploring and the staff moved deftly around him, smiling and went about their business. Just what a busy mum needed.

Natwest is a great bank as a student they always have the best deals and this one is no exception…read more If you need a bank to do any financial banking then this one has 3 cashier desks and a personal manager to help with advice, they are particularly helpful more so than other banks I have been to. The nearest ATM machine is outside and around the corner opposite the pub on the wall. This a smaller bank so expect to queue and avoid at busy periods such as lunch time.

They take the time to listen, offer great advise and don't go for 'the hard sell' when you loosely ask about opening a savings account. It genuinely seems that your needs come first - which makes a welcome change! This branch rarely has queues, which makes it a great place to pop in a cheque on your lunch hour. They also have in-store cash machines, deposit machines and a separate help-desk if you need some one-to-one advise. They also have trays of free Murray Mints on the desk which I think is sweet touch (see what I did there?)
