My first visit here was on Mother's Day this year! My daughter lives in Champaign and I came to…read morevisit and she was set on taking me here for Mother's Day brunch! She was raving about how good the food was and I said ok ok it can't be THAT amazing... she was right! This establishment doesn't take reservations, they do a waiting list. And when we woke up my daughter put us on the list and we were 189th!!! I said welp- we may need to have a back up plan because we're never gonna get in! But sure enough by the time we got dressed and ready and arrived, it worked out seamlessly and we walked straight in and to our table! I don't recall ever witnessing such a highly efficient, AND friendly team at a restaurant in my life. I was truly amazed that we made our way thru the waitlist, and despite it being an extremely busy day on a holiday, it was not at all chaotic. They had a system, and everyone knew their assignments! We were seated in a nice sunny booth for our meal. A server who wasn't even our main server came over to say hello and wish me a happy Mother's Day and offered to take our picture!! So sweet!!! Now to the food!!! Oh my goodness. I literally have not stopped thinking about this veggie skillet since Mother's Day!!!! The combinations!!! So they had sweet potato tater tots, mushrooms, spinach, eggs, pumpkin seeds, feta and dried cranberries!!!! A party in my mouth!!!! That combination was SO delicious!! Major kudos to the chef who put that on the menu! My daughter had the Tuscan omelette which had chicken sausage, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, & feta cheese. She said hers was amazing too!! Outstanding meal! I live in Evanston, IL and I'm telling you this brunch was so good I'm planning a trip back to go visit this place again!!! So yummy! And the staff was handing out single roses to all the moms on Mother's Day! How sweet was that!! And how thoughtful of them even on a CRAZY busy day!! Shouts out to the entire team there! Yall are doing a wonderful job! Keep it up!!

Quite literally the best breakfast place in the CU area. Though a bit expensive, you get what you…read morepay for. The portion sizes are huge. Both the corned beef hash and steak and eggs are fantastic. Staff are friendly and the remodeled restaurant looks very homey.

I came here on the night of July 27,2025 with a group of women I befriended at a previous bar. I…read morewas the only masculine lesbian of the group, and the white man who was a "superior" security officer in shorts and sandals refused to let me in. after my friends talked to the man, he claimed that I refused to show ID. I keep two forms of ID in my wallet , and I also had two wristbands on from previous bars I decided to explore. he then lied to my group and claimed I was disrespectful. this was my first time ever going to that bar. I've lived in the area for a year , but I don't get out much. I'm a shy person and I don't talk much. the man never spoke to me regarding iD because I had never been there before. the black man at the door replied "that's the boss " when addressed about the injustices occurring at the entrance. feminine women are welcomed by staff, but masculine women are stopped at the door. go where you're respected sweetheart. Neil st blues is around the corner and they would never treat anyone like that. My people should spend their money where they are appreciated . This is how they feel about us. I don't encourage anyone to spend their money where their money and energy isn't valued. The good people at Neil st blues welcomes everyone no matter what They may believe in and you can tell from the moment you walk through the doors. this place is discriminatory.
