I don't like waiting very much, even if it's justified so recently I have been going to Lloyds Pharmacy, which is just 5 steps across from Boots. Today for example I went there after 5pm and there were no other customers. Perfect! I handed in my prescription and was told to wait 10 minutes. In reality it was actually less than 5 minutes and I was out the door again, happy customer. Lloyds Pharmacy is small but compact. They've got all the services you may need: blood pressure and diabetes testing, click & collect service etc. This branch is also open every day except on Sundays.

This little store is now my go-to spot to pick up prescriptions, mainly because they 1. fill the prescription while you wait and 2. always have my medication in stock. Boots down the road isn't a bad option, but they don't tick these two boxes and for someone who is perpetually behind the eight ball, the speed and ease of Lloyds wins out. It also helps that the folks behind the counter are always helpful and friendly. Going to the pharmacy is an errand, not a chore and Lloyds makes that a reality.
