I said impossible it was only 2 hours? and only 2 cars in the parking lot. She said It's your fault you left the carrier, thats how it' is. I asked about the other two tabbies I saw and she said..They are spoken for and would not show me them. I'm 75 years old, worked for the county, retired and have several cats, i've taken good care of over 10 years. I'm sorry she didn't think someone with my looks, (I'm Hispanic)deserved a cat even if it was free. I told her I read the Yelp reviews and despite the negative reports, had given her the benefit of doubt. Yelp was spot on!..I then told her I wasn't going to argue with her it was just wrong. She then demanded my name, and I declined saying read the Yelp report. I pray someone good got the kittens and they were not simply rushed to some experimental lab that prizes cats like that the way some handle human body parts at Funeral homes.. I am so unnerved right now but hopes it helps anyone dealing with them I felt something fishy when the girl would not provide me an application and make it easier for her when I got back. To Cristi C. who complains about Mr. Kaplan's methods, I think you should first show your stats as to how many dogs you have rescued and how many veterans' lives you have changed before critiquing Mr. Kaplan's training methods. He gets results, dogs are saved, veterans regain independence, and he does not harm the animals in his care in the process. Canine Angels is truly deserving of a place on your permanent charity list.

My wife was shopping one day and saw Rick (the owner of Canine Angels) playing golf with a pack of dogs off leash following him and obeying better than most people. We reached out to him to see if he could help us with Diesel. He met with us and Diesel and said he could help. It was truly amazing! Though Diesel is not a therapy dog, he is now extremely confident and has turned into the perfect dog. We can't thank Rick enough for the work he has done with Diesel and training us as well. When…read moreI arrived, the owner said the groomer was her daughter and she had a long day, had to get something to eat so just let her know what I wanted done with my dog and she would relay it. I said cut about 1/2 off since winter is coming so she still has fur and cutout the 3 little mats if she can't comb them out. She asked if I wanted her tail kept long and I said YES. I came back in 2 1/2 hrs later for my 5 lb dog and my poor doggie was shaved to the bone with her tail and ears chopped short. The woman insisted that she was not shaved. There was no hair left on her that you could comb or grab. I call that shaved. I will never let anyone touch her again without meeting the actual groomer (which of course, I thought I was going to meet). Needless to say, neither of us were happy. Now she's shivering and ever since this, she is not eating like she used to. She used to wolf down her food; now she starts to eat, then backs up, plops her bottom down and looks around like something is scareing her. I don't know what they did, but there's something that is now inscribed in her little head that she can't seem to forget. It's infortunate that I had a bad experience because they were highly recommended.

She spoke to us as if we had no clue about our own dogs or grooming and said the dogs would be in "more pain" if we did not do exactly what they wanted. We were already paying a premium to them and we tip well. I would not recommend this place at all. I would not trust them with my dogs.
