I've been here many times before and was never disappointed, particularly with the service. Last Sunday I took my friend here. It was for a gift that I bought her for her birthday off a Groupon deal. For $60 for two, we received a 3 course meal and a glass of wine. I could not fault my food. Seared Tuna with a beetroot salad and for main, grilled Atlantic salmon with creamy mash and a lemon buttery sauce. Desert was a creme brulee. We of course had starters with a plate of dips and crusty bread and a few cocktails. We loved it. We dined outside as inside was busy but I do recommend if you get a chance to dine indoors as the place is surrounded by fish tanks. Lobster cave know how to do their seafood and I recommend it very much. Oh! We also got a $50 voucher off our next meal. If you get a chance, spend a Sunday lunch there and go for a walk along Beach road and check out the beaches.

Malibu Chicken with a side of Potato Gratin..yum!

This restaurant was, I have to admit, a bit disappointing. The decor is very elegant and classy, the wait staff was very polite, and our party of 12 was seated very quickly. The pros: The food portions were very generous, and everyone's dishes were delicious. I had the Malibu Chicken in Chardonnay Sauce with a side of Potato Gratin and my boyfriend had the lamb shoulder, prawns, and the lobster tail top up on mash. The cons: The wait to have our order taken and the subsequent wait to get our food served was far too long. Additionally, we constantly had to wait or ask for more water or wine. The food is definitely worth the price tag, but I can't say I would be back. Personally, I believe customer service should be top notch (especially when paying so much).

Be prepared to wait 2hrs + for your food. Muscles were very average but the lobster tail was amazing.

3 courses $79 large portions no corkage and great service, I am fussy and could not fault the food, venue and service!

The menu is extremely large and confusing. Meals are way overpriced for what you get. Lobster is beautiful but be prepared to pay for it.

This is the most awesome and amazing fine dining place outside of the Melbourne CBD, and even…read moreperhaps better than any there too! Cozy, intimate and romantic atmosphere. Great staff and and wonderful fresh menu of delicious meals. I could eat here every week without any regrets. The food is always perfect!

"...AFFORDABLE CLASSY DINING IN BEAUTIFUL BEAUMARIS..."…read more Last week we enjoyed a gorgeous three course lunch, with some fair dinkum QUALITY Aussie chardonnay, at the GRANGE STEAK AND GRILL in bayside Beaumaris - it was 10 degrees cooler out here [than in town] - that sea breeze was just so lovely... The whole experience was first class all the way: - elegant digs - silver service - fab food So thanks to Ben - the head guy - who made it such a pleasure - a really lovely person who kept serving us for an hour after they'd closed - we arrived very late - kinda difficult at present to judge the Chrissy traffic...!!! Anyway, over the course of 2 hours we ate and drank... and really truly thoroughly enjoyed the following: -Grilled rustic bread -Chargrilled asparagus with Spanish prosciutto -Grange salt and pepper squid -Chargrilled Grange baby sausages then -Walnut cannelloni -Chargrilled premium eye fillet steak -Reza's signature whole lobster tail risotto -Pan fried salmon -Sides: potatoes roasted in duck fat, smoked salmon with creamy salmon mousse, beer battered fat fries, beetroot mash then -Chef's selection of signature desserts including house made vanilla ice-cream, chocolate mousse, creme caramel and chocolate gateau. To drink: -house chardonnay -house made LLB's -NZ sparkling water Okay, the whole thing cost us $138 [2 x $69 Scoopon Vouchers] plus $43 for a few extras = $182 for four. Just so so so, YES so amazin'......!!!! A classy joint.. with beautiful F & B's.. decent sized servings, considering it's fine dining.. and top notch service.. but, not formal, if you don't want it to be.. not dress-up, if you don't want to.. and not over-priced.. A great place to take that some-one special... Visited on Friday 18 December 2015 for lunch.
