Failed to give me a refund when requested. Here are the details. On August 24, 2025 I took a rental car at this location. I was told by an employee that I would be charged $80 for gas if I did not return the car with a full tank of gas. On August 28, 2025 I returned the car without a full tank of gas. I told the same employee that the tank was not full and that I understood I would be charged $80. the employee did not say anything to the contrary. I was not given an invoice when I returned the car. An invoice was subsequently sent to me. It included a charge for $125.52 for gas. I subsequently sent an email to a responsible Hertz employee asking for a refund of $45.52. He has failed to refund the amount owed to me. Paul Cozzi, Toronto

Before booking everything, we double checked with multiple sales reps and even received an estimate. We were to pick up the car at Hertz closest to the airport around 10pm and drop it off in downtown the following day at 10pm. Because it was within 24 hours, we would only be charged $36 CAD. No fee for the location drop off. Fast forward, we picked up the car at Hertz, near the airport, at 10pm and then returned the car that following day at 5:50pm. Because the office was closed, we left the car with the Hertz attendant and was told the office will process our paper work when they open the next day. A few days later, we received a bill for $138 CAD! Charged for 2 days at $36 CAD per day and approximately $60 CAD for gas! How can you charge so much for gas?!? We were told it was $0.98 per liter but they forgot to tell us that there's a $3.65 CAD per liter service fee. What jokers! They lied and cheated us. We called multiple times to resolve this disservice but they refused to work with us. We've asked twice to have the manager call us back, but of course, we never heard anything from them. Warning for anyone, be careful of this place because they may cheat you! I never had this issue before. Thanks Hertz, you guys were the pain to our awesome trip!

I was staying next door at the HIlton and decided to reserve a car here because the Avis/Budget at…read moremy hotel was all spoken for. The reservation system using the mobile app was pretty seamless and didn't take very long to book. My only caution about this place is that they are closed on weekends. Luckily, we were not leaving until Tuesday, so booking this for Monday worked out for us. Also, most tourist places are not as crowded on a Monday. The check out process was great. The rep explained everything to us and told us how to get out and return the car. Though, the parking garage is a little creepy if you are there all alone returning the car by yourself. One thing I have to ding them for is that one of the key fobs eventually failed due to low battery. Luckily, he gave me 2 fobs and I was able to use the other one for the rest of my rental. I was not able to inform the rep, because I returned the car after hours.

This is a small office tucked away in the lobby area. It's across from where the store is located…read moreright next to the restrooms. We tried to rent a car for the next day and there were no cars available. The attendant told us that they only have 2 cars. I hope it's not 2 cars in total. But if you plan on renting, make sure you make reservations so that you don't miss out. Otherwise, I would recommend you rent from the Enterprise at the Delta hotel as they have more cars available. Only issue with the Enterprise is that they are not open on the weekends.

However, when driving into the lower parking garage, my big Suburban was too tall for the parking garage! Fearing getting stuck, I beached the car and took the keys up to the office. As I was waiting in line, all the power went off in the whole building! So their computers were down. They took my keys and we parted ways. Overall, just a surreal experience.

Because the rental was international one-way, there were numerous complications, especially regarding payment. Through this difficult ordeal, Adriana and Angelique (apologies if I've spelled your names incorrectly or left anyone out) were incredibly helpful, diligent, and compassionate. They spent significant time researching various options for us, as well as calling the destination National location to ensure that the rental would go smoothly. Without their help things would've been much more difficult for us, and I and my entire family are grateful for their assistance.
