They have very clean female/male separated shower and restroom facilities, and the site also had wash rooms for washing and drying laundry. The site also has boats avaliable for rental so that you may go out onto Loch Ness, and for those that do not have an RV in Scotland, this campsite also allows tent camping wich is exactly what we did, it was a blast. The view along the shore at this site is unforgettable, and the river Foyers runs right next to the campsite into Loch Ness. The site has a small pier you can walk out onto on the Loch, for just a beautiful view and experience. The area around Loch Ness is not crowded or overly developed, which really adds to the experience. You really get a feel of how things were long ago in the area. Definitely recommend!

The pod was cozy, warm, convenient, and such a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing. Ardtower is two miles from Culloden Battlefield, and a quick drive from a shopping center. We picked up groceries and "adult beverages" to have back at the pod. The park has a laundry, restaurant, and a small selection of essentials at the front office. One nice surprise was the ice cream truck that drives through the park ringing the bell to get soft serve sundaes after dinner! Great location, friendly staff, clean facilities, and you cant beat the price!

But very expensive to order in anything that they don't have on site. The two tills are not optimally placed being as they are tucked in around the main stairs. While the displays are well presented and neatly organised their layout divides the shop too much. Zoning of products is important, but here it reduces flow around the store. Bike shop is geared towards complete bikes and cycle clothing rather than spares, maintenance and upgrades. Has a well equipped and staffed workshop but lacks it's own till. Staff in both bike shop and main store are friendly and knowledgable, if sometimes a bit thin on the ground at times. Cafe is clean and nice with sandwiches made on site. Good bookshop with comfortable seating. Not a bad shop by any means but with such potential it feels like a few minor adjustments would make it superb.

Had to buy pricey booties as the only ones in my size but they are great quality. Even the cafe inside Tiso has quality food and drink. When we returned the kayak a day late as my friend Patti Bauernfeind's Loch Ness swim ended later than expected, they told us not to worry about paying any additional cost. Bught Caravan Park is a great place to stay for a family holiday…read more Our family (myself, husband and two children) stayed for a week and at £13 per night we considered it to be inexpensive. We had a nice scenic view from our caravan window. Although the caravan park is set in woodland, you are very close to Inverness where you can enjoy meals out and some great shopping. There are also cinemas, sports facilities and other family attractions in the city centre. The site includes showers and toilet blocks and laundry and drying facilities. There is a small on-site shop and a self-catering internet cafe. I'll certainly be booking again if I plan to spend more than a few days in Inverness. The site is graded with 3 stars by the Highland Council. The cost of caravan rental is fairly inexpensive

We got a taxi there from the bus station, because it was raining, but it is easily walkable. Taxi fare was £6 or £7. The holiday park has caravans and cabins in situ and there is ample space for camping at the bottom of the site, near the river which sounds lovely as you lie in your sleeping bag. The campsite has free hot showers and they are very nice. This place is really clean and looked after really well by the lovely people who run it. They were incredibly helpful to me. It's not far away from The Great Glen Way either, if that's what you are doing here. Neptune's Staircase is 30 mins walk from the campsite along the road. Camping was £7 per night. There is a drying room, meaning you need money to put in the dryer.

Spacious does not describe it with 2 living rooms, a dining room, large kitchen and 6 bedrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped, as is the rest of the house. The best of it all is the location. The house stands directly at Loch Ness and from the living room you can enjoy watching the mist slowly moving over the lake whilst the fire keeps you warm. The local shop is about 3 miles away and stocks everything one might need. If you need a big family style shopping, Inverness is about 30 miles away.

Before the cruise we were feeling a little burnt out, and although we made every effort we missed our cruise reservation!! Be sure to get there early for your tour, the boat left at the advertised time, which is great for travel planning, we were just late! We were pretty bummed, but we took a beat and had some coffee in their café, which was a very nice relaxing experience on its own. We each had an Americano and they were very good. Once we gathered our thoughts we checked back in with the cruise staff, and they were able to bump our reservation to the next cruise time!!! We were thrilled because we were specifically looking forward to the "contemplation cruise", and the cold clean air of Lochness. The cruise itself was marvelous. Very smooth, only a few moments of choppy water. The guide was funny, educational and relaxing. He had some hilarious silly jokes which I loved. Being on the water refreshed our spirits completely!! The boat had a bar with coffee, snacks and alcohol. While we didn't partake in anything on the boat, I imagine if we had it would have been pretty satisfying. We brought snacks of our own on board. There were 3 restrooms on board which were clean and maintained. Be sure to bring some layers, it was pretty chilly, but then the sun would peek out and sitting in the sun it would warm up all of a sudden. Seating was available above deck and in the cabin. This was one of my favorite activities of the trip. I recommend for travelers of all ages and abilities.

We were there at the same time as a gray and blue haired bus tour and they should consider renaming this the "Loch Ness booze cruise" as there a good amount of semi-rowdy 70 year old women hitting the bar.
