There is ample parking on premise for hotel guests and dinner guests. The owners were very gracious and accommodating. As a former hunting lodge, there are rooms upstairs but no lifts. We had breakfasts and dinners here during our stay. Breakfast had self serve yogurts and cereals and hot cooked items to choose from. Hearty appetites can have the Scottish breakfast. There's scrambled eggs and smoke salmon for more modest appetites. We did book reservations and enjoyed a drink at the bar while perusing the menu. Our dinner orders were taken in the bar and when dinner was ready, we were invited to the dining room. Each meal we had were expertly made and presented. It was our reward for all the hiking we did on Skye. If you like scallops, the hand dived Sconser scallops on the starter menu is not to be missed. They came from the waters in front of the hotel! The bar in the restaurant has a very nice list of whiskys- a good amount from Isle of Skye. There is a casual pub in the hotel with a casual menu and drinks. You can also sit out side of the pub on the lawn with picnic tables. Our room was very cute- small but we were only sleeping there. Even with the pub downstairs it was very quiet and enjoyable. My most favorite thing was that the marble line (hiking trail) is about 2km from the hotel- it made for a breathtaking morning run amongst the mountain and sheep.
