We payed £30 for 2 people (bigger wigwams are a bit more expensive). The wigwam was a bit small (you couldn't stay standing) but the mattresses were comfortable and it was well equipped (heat, kettle, fridge, sockets). You can rent a fire pit and buy wood. The common room available to all camping guests was big and well furnished, and we could easily cook our meal and stay there a bit before returning to the wigwam (there are several books and leaflets about things to do in the surroundings). We took tea and dessert in the coffee shop were the waiter was SO nice and funny (but he probably do not work here anymore as he was about to leave to Edimburg for college). The place is warm and cosy, the lime pie was good and there is free wifi. Showers were spacious and clean. This campground is situated between the "distilleries area" (Aberlour, Macallan... 25 miles) and Inverness (32 miles). The sea is very close. It is a good place for a step during a road trip (we stayed here after visiting Macallan distillery and before going to Inverness).

We were told that we could find public toilets in the town, checkin was 4 -7pm. The sign outside said that they still had vacancies. We are in hospitality ourselves and have never had such a greeting anywhere like this. Cancelled our booking and found alternative accommodation, but have still been charged the full amount for the 2 rooms, although we were never over the door. Rooms vary in size from single to family-sized rooms but we always book a double-bedded room. The beds are comfy - although the bedding can be a little inadequate if you're staying in the midst of winter as we did one year and I was so glad I'd thought ahead and packed my hot water bottle! Yeh, I know - so uncool but so warm at the same time! Prices of rooms can vary throughout the year but, generally speaking, a double will cost around £45 unless you get a special deal during low-peak times. Bathrooms are light and airy with great bath and shower facilities, plus hairdryer. Nice fluffy towels, too. Plenty of space for hanging clothes etc although, like most people, we only ever spend one night in these hotels as we are usually en-route to or from somewhere. Premier Inn Inverness has the usual dining area annexed to the hotel where you can enjoy an evening meal on your arrival and breakast the morning after. Perfectly premier stay!

The check in process was quick and efficient, we had booked in advance for the three-person room (a single room and a joining double with a shared bathroom) and with CAMRA 10% discount it was £99 for bed and breakfast. Not bad at all given that the breakfast was lovely and consisted of a full cooked breakfast and unlimited cereal, fruit, juice and porridge. The rooms were a bit dated with a sink in the room too which was pretty random, but the views were excellent and the hotel nice and quiet. Nairn itself is an interesting place, there's a mix of local pubs, wine bars and then this place which stands out for its excellent beer selection and friendly staff.

Excellent place who go well above and beyond for service. Had a mix up with taxis and their SafeCab…read moreapp and they called and got it squared away in minutes. We left early for planned events a couple times and they brought breakfast to our room at 6am and wanted to at 3am when we left for the airport. Had a bad day so they gave us a couple flasks of whiskey. The area is historic and beautiful. They warned us that while Uber shows it was there, they are not and they charge, then never show up. The only thing I could say was a little disappointing was no AC so we kept the windows opened as it was cool enough and they advertised a small fridge but they had none. Lastly, we prepaid for breakfast but if you wanted something other than a Scottish breakfast, you had to pay for it like waffles or pancakes. Other than that, a perfect stay.
