I lost my mailbox key I contacted the locksmith doctor today he replied with a quick response to my quote. I got off work at 430 I was about 15 mins from home and I received a call from them saying they were already at my house and ready to go to switch the lock on my mailbox so by the time I got home it was pretty much finished I greatly appreciate the fast service and the friendly locksmith who exchanged my lock and gave me three keys I very much needed them. They don't fix the lock on French doors. Although I made it clear it was a French door lock they came anyway and charged me $45 for something they could not fix. I am not satisfied for their service. read more

I called Gary after my flip lock malfunctioned and locked me out of my condo. He wasn't able to come out but he was really helpful in explaining how a locksmith would be able to help in this situation. A different locksmith helped me with that but I have an old door, so I wasn't able to have it completely fixed. I reached out to Gary on Yelp for a quote today to install a new lock. He responded quickly and was able to get the parts and fix it same day. He gave me the quote prior to coming out, explaining I'd be charged his service fee and for the parts. Once here, he explained everything he was doing and was professional and efficient. Make sure you ask about payment options he accepts because he requests cash or check. I called this company to have a Entryway Lock installed. He shows up on time but not very friendly. Long story short the Entryway handle didnt fit the opening of my door. He realized this after 15 mins. The quote for the install was 90.00. I asked him since he couldnt install what did I owe him for the trip and he said 90.00! I said what? I should have just paid for the trip which I figured it would be half the cost since he didnt install anything. He proceeded to say he went to school for that. I felt robbed. He just lost my business. I needed my entire home done but I will be calling a honest and reasonable company to do the job. By the way make sure you have exact cash. He doesnt accept zelle or have change. Also make sure your lock fits before calling them or you will be charged the install fee for a consultation. read more
