It isn't easily noticed but is located next to a local favorite establishment of mine for matcha. When I eyed this gift shop, they offered various items that I like in comparable higher end gift shops in NYC/Brooklyn: locally made jewelry, glassware, home goods, puzzles, candles, apothecary items, and much more aesthetically pleasing merchandise. I do wish they had more ceramic items like espresso cups and mugs. Overall, they have many fun and beautifully curated merchandise, whether gifting for a family or friend or possibly yourself. The other cool factor about Souvenir is that some of the items sold here, such as their dog toys and leashes, are made ethically conscious and give back to the community when purchased. This adorable storefront contains art of all mediums -- accessories, garments, teas, pottery, and more. Whimsical NYC fruit magnets? Check. Stickers of Druid woodland cats? Absolutely. The PERFECT holiday cards for friends and loved ones? Yup. And it's surprisingly affordable -- there were some incredible prints in (so glad to see the artists' names were clearly labeled!) for $15-$20. There's so much local love here and so much awesome AAPI creative energy. I know I'll be back. I love this store…read more I visited this wonderful store a few months ago. The female employee, who was seated by the front door, was sweet and incredibly welcoming. It's a tiny shop but it's jam packed full of all sorts of interesting novelty and artisanal products. Some of the things I saw were beautiful hand made pottery, jewelry, key chains, stickers, paper products such as postcards, and zines. There were a few handbags and clothing on a rack outside the shop as well. I believe the inventory changes every few months. I can't wait to go back to see what new products they'll have available.

They embarrassed me at a party where I gave what I thought was a very nice gift... BUT when your gift has a price tag on it you look tacky and your gift looks cheap. If I wanted a cheap gift I would have bought something at Walmart. That is how my gift was perceived when it was open. WTF where is the customer service here. Gift Wrapping means it is a "gift" and that means I dO not want a price tag. Get your act together.
