Dr. Heather Leam is a petite lady with a technique that whipped my back into shape in less than 3 weeks! I have been seeing Dr. Leam for approximately 6 months and I have never felt better! I first went to see Dr. Leam after badly tweaking my neck at work. After the first visit I already had greater mobility (when I went in I had almost none) and within a few months of regular visits normal aches and pains that I had tought were just part of life are gone. Since I was new to Chiropractic care Dr. Leam took the time to explain everything to me and really make me feel at ease. Although she has helped me to feel terrific, the greatest thing that Dr. Leam has done is help my 2 year old son overcome chronic ear infections. I first began taking my little guy in to see her when he was approximately 22 months old. I had previously mentioned his issue with ear infections (one every 4-8 weeks) and when I saw Dr. Leam adjust her own daughter, I decided to let her try her magic on my baby. It worked. Since beginning regular adjustments he has not had a single ear infection. At first he squirmed and cried during his adjustments, but Dr. Leam always took the time to allow him to relax. Dr. Leam, or my saving grace as I now refer to her, is as good as it gets. I moved here from the Bay Area and had been commuting to be seen by my chiropractor who had helped me live a pain free life for years. I hadn't had any issues with my neck or back for quite some time, and I attributed this to yoga and the care of my old chiropractor. Like Dr Leam, she was so thorough and understood the unique specifics of each patient. It was never a quick fix crack and pop. She treated each issue I had differently allowing me vast windows of time before having to come back for additional adjustments. I began having issues again once I moved, either due to stress or my participation in a newfound bowling league. I was driving two plus hours to get back to the bay and the drive itself was perpetuating all of my issues. I was so nervous and scared to see anyone else because of the severity of my condition, and was worried someone new could make it worse. I woke up in pain every day and it didn't cease. I couldn't get better because of all the driving, and I knew it was time I find something closer. I found Dr. Leam on Yelp and she spent almost 10 mins on the phone with me, delving into my issues and what I had been experiencing. She told me I was over heating and I stopped immediately. I visited her a couple of days later and she quickly found the problem. She made three significant adjustments that immediately gave me my mobility back. The pain relinquished soon after and I was so grateful. From years of issues, I understand the importance of having an outstanding chiropractor, and Dr. Leam is just that. I woke up with terrible shoulder pain (must have slept funny on it) on a Monday morning that progressively got worse as the week went on.
