I've both donated and shopped here. The customer service is top tier! The donation process is easy (if you can find parking). You drive up and they take the items out of your car. There are only two spaces where you can park to donate so if it's full you might need to circle the block and wait for a spot. The shopping experience is great. Tons of items to select from like clothing, household goods, books. The volunteers are wonderful and they offer dressing rooms to try on items which is great. The items are reasonably priced and they do offer sales on select items like 30% shirts etc. Highly recommend coming here! read more

Day 2 Stop 2 Great cause, great location, great everything. Here is my story: After a nice hearty breakfast my travel mates decide we will walk to Stop 3 to meet our other friend. Along the way, we pass Lodi House Thrift Store. It is my understanding the homeless community is the beneficiary for the gains earned at this Thrift Store. In browsing I found a nice fedora that will do me well along our wine tasting jaunts. My travel mates found themselves some new nice bermuda shorts.... what luck! Moral to the story? You never know what you're going to find! So stop in! and just know the proceeds are for a good cause. read more

Very well organized by sizes and the employees are very friendly. Prices are fair although a few items seemed overpriced so know your brands and prices. They had some kitchen items, furniture, clothing, purses and hats. Towards the front they had some vintage items and higher priced clothing. Worth the trip and I love that the proceeds go to Lodi house. read more

I've been shopping here for a longtime, I used to come here weekly. But out of nowhere their prices doubled. No exaggeration. It's been months now and still they're pricing crazy. It's really a bummer because they were one of the last thrift stores standing that had fair deals. I'd rather shop at Walmart or eBay at this point. For example I really liked to checkout their vintage selection and they used to have cute old onesies for $6-$7 (REASONABLE) now they're $15 for one singular OLD onesie that isn't even extra cute or special. Same goes for dish ware, clothes, everything! A fake house plant? $50. Needless to say I'm not a weekly supporter anymore and probably come here every few months and rarely leave with anything. Unlike before. I also don't donate here anymore because what used to be a fun fair priced place has suddenly felt super scammy and like one big money grab. I have family who live in town and we all used to donate here but we all feel the same way and have directed all of our yearly donations to Cancer Society because they are truly the last ones standing with fair pricing and not complete gauging over FREE items you received. It just feels yucky shopping here now. Please reconsider your choices! The 2 stars are for the only positive, friendly employees. read more

I love this thrift store and the staff is very friendly, it's all for a great cause. Docking a star just to share some advice - a few items here are pretty overpriced for used items. I bought a Coach bag and turned out it was fake so that was disappointing especially considering the price. I think if items are going to be priced high they need to be authenticated. I would definitely triple my spending here if prices were a little more reasonable. read more

I came here because we were in the area and decided to stop by. We parked across the street on street parking. The place is medium size but very packed with items. There was also a lot of people. They have sales on different days. Some stuff is priced very reasonably but anything lululemon is over priced in my opinion since it is used. They have cute purses but the price is a hit or miss. They have other items like sports items and kid bikes. The book section was very little and sad unfortunately. The best thing here is definitely close. Overall we had a good experience. read more

What a cute little shop! Everything is well organized and spaced out. No clutter at all. I really like the small section of Christian books (bought a book for $2). No problems with staff as they were all very pleasant. With that said, I'm glad they had a sale going on when I visited (50% of clothing, 25%-75% other stuff/marked down stuff). I agree that most of their items are pricey in comparison to your standard thrift stores. It costs $15+ for used shirts that are not high end brands. However, I also understand that they're supporting a greater cause and helping our community members. So keep that in mind when you look at price tags. The two ladies at the front counter were very pleasant and helpful. We had several very nice things to donate and were told where to drop off around the corner. Started unloading and the gentleman in the back went to another car that pulled up after us. Then came over and told us he will get our things from inside the car. We told him we did not want him in our car and proceeded to unload. He was very rude and demanding. Had we not already unloaded most items we would have kept everything. As it turns out we were not given a receipt or even a thank you. The things we had not yet unloaded we took to the Salvation Army and were treated like gold, offered a donation receipt and thanked immensely. read more

I have been going to the Lodi House thrift store for over five years everything in there is always in excellent condition and tested so that it works correctly. I Love all the things that they sell! Went here for the first time last week. It is on the smaller side for store. Prices were kinda high as well, but it does call itself a boutique. Looked around, did see some discounts listed on a board as you walk in. I didn't buy anything here. Alot of volunteers there. The store charity and cause is for domestic violence which is close to my heart. I will defintly donate there and possibly volunteer at some point. Only downfall was the parking. Maybe 6 spots out front. I had to drive around the block several times. I might pop in occasionally if I see an open spot out front lol read more

I love the Lodi House and what they stand for! Not only do they have a great thrift store with new items constantly coming in, but the staff and volunteers are so sweet and kind. Donating items, time, and/or money to Lodi House helps aid homeless women and children. The money made through the thrift store goes directly into the cost of the business and providing items and services to help the women and children get back on their feet. Nice selection of ladies wear. They were having a great sale when I went and I found some nice pieces. They have lovely dressing rooms with mirror and chair, it was more like shopping at a boutique. Unfortunately this store has changed a lot over the years. I used to find a lot of old linens, dishes etc. Now they keep anything that has any value and they must either sell it online or they put it in a glass case. I literally have not purchased anything here in about a year and I have been in a dozen times. Where is everything going? Not in the store, thats for sure. This is a great thrift store! Everything is so nicely organized, and the store is very clean. You won't find junk here, as they only sell things that are in good condition. They offer a large variety of items, and new inventory is generally put out daily. I've purchased clothing, shoes, purses, household decor, kitchen items and so much more. I think the prices are quite reasonable for the quality, but you can also get some amazing deals with the weekly sales. I'm definitely a regular, and I've come to know the employees by name. What a great bunch of people! I also like to donate here whenever possible, as this thrift store supports such a great cause in our community. Love this store! read more

Don't call it a thrift store when prices are way high, I thought I was shopping at target lol, but clean store.

I've never had a bad experience here and I thift very often. but today one of the cashiers asked me if i could give them my back pack when i first walked in. Which is fine if its a new policy i dont mind. But what struck me as very odd was another customer had a backpack similar size as mine the only diffrence was she was caucasian and im mexican. Lodi already discriminates soo much you cant even pay your utilities with out it happening. And i was extremely saddened that a place i visit often would do something similar. I dont think ill be visiting thia store anymore. read more

Nice quality stuff. Somewhat expensive if you don't come in on a day where they are having a sale. $4-5 per item. But they seem to have sales often. There are also a lot of professional clothing for men and women. The items are sorted by color and size. Customer service was great. They do have nice changing rooms. I am a volunteer at Lodi House Thrift Store. I can tell you this, it is the best thrift store I have ever found. I'm one of the many people that shop here. The people that I work with are so friendly and helpful. The store itself is very organized and beautiful. It feels more like a boutique store. They have great sales every week which brings in repeat and more and more new customers. I have never seen so many donations come in on a daily basis. It's like a caravan of cars and vans. The money spent here goes to help support the Lodi House Shelter for women and children. What a great organization! You must check it out for yourself. You won't be sorry! read more

Giving 4 stars because of the stuff there. Decently priced and very nice. Pretty organized. There is an older white lady with white hair who was really rude. She was nice talking to the lady in front of me, gave her a punch card for so many visits and when I went up she acted as if me buying furniture was a bother. Lip smacking and eye rolling and then she got mad that I didn't peel the sticker off completely. The corner came off but you could clearly see the price. She acted as if I was lying when I told her the actual price. "Well if you peeled it off correctly it wouldn't even be a question." read more

This little thrift store is the best kept secret! Employees are always so attentive and nice. I don't go thrifting BUT this place helps battered women with children by letting them shop here for free until they get back on their feet. This is why I also donate clothing and home goods/decor.
