This "Urgent Care" is not worth wasting your time. I was seen twice for shortness of breath. Given antibiotics and sent home for a week. I went back to see why I was still experiencing the same conditions. They wanted to give me another COVID test. I had no symptoms for Covid, and tested negative the first time. The assistant seemed upset when I requested a chest X-ray. He gave it to me. Then on my way out Dr. G stepped in and added blood work also. That's the last I have heard from them. My oncologist saw the X-ray and ordered an emergency CT scan and they found blood clots and slight pneumonia. I was admitted to the hospital and treated. Still not hearing anything from this "Urgent Care". I feel I wasted a week while my condition worsened. I'm sorry I went here. I will not return. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! read more

I have been a LONG time patient of Jerry's and I love him and Dr Ghovami dearly, they are both FANTASTIC Dr's, it they weren't, I'd have left ages ago! The office staff is beyond inept. I rarely call without being put on hold for 10 mins or more. Today, I was on hold for 24 minutes before I was told my moms x-rays are not in yet (done on Friday, tech said they were sending to dr that day. I do NOT have time to sit on hold, most times, their office was supposed to make referral appointments and the ball was dropped SO many times I lost count. I JUST asked to speak to the office manager and was told she works after hours. WHAT? What good is having an office manager when she doesn't work when patients are there? Good grief, this is ridiculous. I hate to lose 2 great Doctors due to their office but sadly, my time doesn't seem important to them and neither does her health apparently. Please Dr Ghovami, wake up! Your staff is incapable and you're losing patients over it. Get a decent office manager in there STAT! read more

I had to get medically cleared for elective surgery. I have Kaiser Ins. which will not approve any surgeries outside of their network. I called pretty much every Urgent Care in town and was at my end till I finally got ahold of Lodi Urgent Care and was told the great news that they do offer that service. I scheduled an appt for the following week. The out of pocket amount was reasonable and I was out of the office within a few mins with my completed form! Happy patient! read more

I was not feeling good and went to see Dr Ghavami. Dr Ghavami was very thorough and found out what was wrong and I was feeling better in a couple of days. He even called me and checked on me. The hours show open at 8am, showed up at 750am to see a sign that says "Closed, will return at 9am" mistakingly thought maybe it was just a fluke on the little clock. Then sit there until 9am and still not open... mind you a few other people start showing up. One guy says "oh I've been coming here for nearly 6 years they have never been open at 8am even though that's what it says and they are often really late"... I guess the idea of URGENT CARE is lost in their title :/ Disappointed. Mind you and ER copay is 10times the cost of the urgent care, which is why I didn't go across the street. Dr Ghavami and the staff here are awesome! I have Kaiser but I pay cash to see Dr Ghavami. Dr Ghavami was my primary care Doctor prior to having only the Kaiser option. Unlike Kaiser, Dr Ghavami seems to care about my health and quality of life. He doesn't just check a box. He has helped me through quitting tobacco, loosing weight, ongoing arthritis and other issues. He's a straight talker and will be honest with you. I think some people don't like that. I've seen some bad reviews about the staff. I don't understand that, I've been going here for years and have never had a bad experience with anyone. Like Dr Ghavami the staff is busy. I don't expect them to entertain me while I wait for my appointment. That being said I've had some fun interactions with them over the years. Ugh- so mixed in this review- Dr Ghavami is fabulous! He cares about his patients and has wonderful ethics as a physician. While the office is run down, and the wait can be quite long... it is what it is.... the problem???? JERRY the PA- the identified an infection on my mothers side she got while in the hospital. It's gotten worse over the past four months despite antibiotics. He refused to give her a prescription for silver cream which quickly healed a burn she had before- he insisted she was allergic ( Dr. Ghavami prescribed it previously- it worked great) Instead he orders a cortisone crime- we wait at Costco for it, and the pharmacists tells us it wort help an infection- I call him, him and his unfounded large ego says that she can only have that....so she buys it anyways wanting to trust the "professional" and further research .... it must not be used on open sores!!!!! ‍‍ this so called professional is loud, rude, full of unwarranted ego. read more

Awful office staff. Entered office promptly upon opening w my son who has a severe ankle injury. They refused to accept our insurance, despite my being on a plan they are SUPPOSED to take. They laughed at us when I asked them to double check as my plan assured me they would cover service. I guess MONEY is more important to the MD running urgent care rather than actually HEALING people. Went across the street (literally) to the local hospital ER where we were treated w kindness and dignity. horrible service. I did a walk in and waited nearly 3 hrs to be seen. I had to do a follow up and made an appointment. When i got to my appointment, they had a hard time finding my file. I was still waiting over 40 mins after my appointment time so I told the receptionist how long I've been waiting and told them I had to leave and they said I was next. I made an appointment, other places will see me at my appointment time not 40+ mins after. And it took them over an hr after my appointment time before I even got to meet with the doctor. Well 30 minuets later and a dozen people waiting outside still and we haven't been let in. So much for an URGENT CARE! I'm 6 months pregnant and standing out in the sun waiting for them to open. Both Dr. Ghavami and PA Jerry are excellent at what they do. They are very caring and actually take the time to listen to what is wrong with you and your symptoms. They have given me the right medication that I needed which really helps if you're a self pay patient, meaning you won't have to keep going in regarding your symptoms. They both are very knowledgeable and professional. I really recommend it and though the wait might be long at times it is worth the wait. A lot of people don't realize that the reason why they have to wait so long is because they actually take the time to treat you and actually give you more than the 15 minutes they are supposed to do for consultation. They are great at answering all of your questions too. I've tried other urgent cares and Lodi Urgent Care has been the best. read more

My normal physician works at the Millsbridge Clinic which is affiliated with Lodi Health (now part of Adventist Health network). Several weeks ago, I had to get in on a Saturday and called my doctor's office to ask her recommendation for an Urgent Care option as I know they're very uneven. It turned out that while the doctor's office was closed, she was covering and called me back. She recommended that I go to Lodi Urgent Care on S. Fairmont as they were part of the same parent company which would give them access to my medical records -- and her access to their records. So the good & bad news about urgent care facilities is that they are a step down from an emergency room, but like an emergency room how quickly you're seen is tied to the number of patients. Sometimes it's quick, sometimes it's not. While we were waiting, I saw the bilingual staff help a family with a young, fairly sick kid. All of the staff I worked with were helpful. When I got in to see the nurse practitioner, I received excellent care including some specialized wound dressing. In an effort to keep my prescription costs down, I wanted to use GoodRx to find the cheapest location to get my prescription filled. The NP was willing to wait while I checked on that -- and then electronically sent my prescription in. This meant that the prescription was ready when we went to pick it up. The Lodi Urgent Care office was able to schedule my follow-up visit with my regular doctor's office. I subsequently had to receive additional care -- but that was not due to any fault with Lodi Urgent Care. It was really nice that my regular doctor had access to the notes from the Urgent Care site. Would I go back? Absolutely. They did a professional job and I received excellent care. read more

Do not come to this place unless you want a bill almost 4 years after your visit due to a glitch in their computer system and then sent to collections in less then a month for $20 after you already sent them payment!!! If you can get past the gauntlet front desk it's a decent place to go. The front is always flavor if the month intern and it shows with the lack if service or care. The drs are decent if you can get seen. There both nice for the most part and are probably above average when it comes to urgent care. They are way better here then the other urgent care on ham. Those guys are crooks! I paid cash then got a bill from Lodi memorial even though I paid in full there. Good luck in the lobby but once past that this is a decent office. read more

If your looking for a professional healthcare provider, please PLEASE look elsewhere. I have been treated so poorly from this establishment. I've been seen here since 2011, but for more serious reasons since September 2021. The Drs are in and out in less then 5 minutes even when they see I'm in excruciating pain. When I call to check the status of a referral or just to give them the corrected fax number, I am treated like dirt. And this is an understatement. Ruby and Esmeralda are the two young ladys that have rushed me off and hung up on me mid sentence. I've never been treated so poorly. Before my illness I too worked with customers. And I'm big on customer service. I would never think of treating my customers the way this office has treated me. This place was horrible. The wait was long, the place was filthy. The girls behind the register are rude and incompetent. The Dr. Didnt appear to care about anything but collecting his large fee. We waited for hours before we were seen. I'll never return. This place has left a foul taste in my mouth and after getting all the bills I think it would have been cheaper to go to the ER. No complaints about Dr. Ghavami or the staff. Jerry however is an @$&hole He thinks he knows it all and there's nothing in the world that he doesn't know. After 20+ years of reading everything I could because every doctor couldn't figure out what was wrong with me (unfortunately I have something that is rare in US but VERY common in countries like Mexico) and would just say it's in my head I found out what was wrong with me and when I tried to show Jerry the literature I found from the CDC can't get a better source he didn't believe me wouldn't even at it and said I need my head examined. The lady student nurse practitioner immediately looked it up and was reading about it after that, Approximately a month after I tried to get Jerry to look at the information he decided he's going to cut me off of medicine that I've been taking for 20+ years. Every other doctor and off the top of my head that's three or four has told me I need to wean off the medicine and it could take up to six months and Jerry refused to renew it and cut me off cold turkey. It could've killed me but he didn't give a damn. So besides the lack of caring and trust in your patient. Which by the way I have done everything he's asked me to do including losing weight which is very difficult because I'm not young. His excuse for cutting me off he would've never known about it had I not told hi. It was also something I had no control over I'm supposed to go see a dermatologist but can't get an appointment because they don't have any other than months out. Urgent care sent them a referral not me they sent it and because the dermatologist claims they never received it he blamed me even though they are the ones who sent the referral and I've called several times. bottom line. He prescribed too many drugs that did not go together which caused me to have problems before I even saw him I quit taking several of them but that didn't matter to him. As a final note and this is not just for medical professions this is for all professions. Every day there's new studies new discoveries but Jerry doesn't care about that but I haven't been around for many many many years but because it's not common in the United States he knows nothing about it and he's not willing to even look at literature so unless you have something like the common cold don't go to Jerry because he knows it all and if you have something he doesn't know you'll never get the right treatment.. Jerry can rot in hell because as far as I'm concerned he took my life away because now I can do nothing. I strongly recommend anyone eating urgent care not go to Lodi Urgent Care because you might not get the right diagnosis and you will not be able to say anything because he knows it all!!!!! read more

My experience here was a little unbelievable. I felt like the front desk was run by a second grader. The lady was so ....slow. In addition, she did not listen to me. I told her some of my symptoms, and I watched her write down a potential diagnosis on the paper. Whoever sits at the front desk isn't a doctor. I don't need her to take a guess at what I had, especially since the guess was wrong. Once I saw a doctor, the guy was totally awkward. It was such an uncomfortable experience. They did next to no examining, wrote a prescription, and I left. When I finally did get in to my general practitioner, I was not surprised to find that this urgent care had blindly misdiagnosed me. Jerry was great and a straight shooter!!! I've seen it really busy in there but my experience was fine.. I waited 45 min.,was seen, prescribed an antibiotic and out the door.. Growing up as the son of a pharmacist I've seen it all!! From hours to just get to a room to interns with no idea what they are doing..
