Even now I drive through fairly often, and I've started stopping. There's plenty to see and do here. The Pumpkin Festival is definitely worth a visit, of course. Logan Elm if you are a history buff (the tree is gone, but there's a state memorial.) There are a couple of museums in Circleville, the historical society and the Ted Lewis museum. Limited hours at both so call ahead. The food scene is okay but not great. Plenty of chains along 23 in Circleville. And one of the few surviving Raxes! There are decent parks, and some oddball sights like the pumpkin water tower in town, a tank flagpole right along 23, an F-105 at the Amvets, an octagon house. Out of town up on a hill is Mount Oval, an unusual historic house (tours occasionally, again check ahead.) South Bloomfield is booming, and has lost its reputation as a speed trap (I'd still slow down a bit.) Ashville has a Viking Festival, well worth a visit. There are a few other small towns like Commercial Point that are at least worth a look. The county has grown and prospered, with many factories and retail businesses. It's close enough to commute to Columbus. No longer just a drive-through stretch for me, it's got a few nice things to see and do... and many places for a pitstop.

I've driven through Circleville so many times, and often saw the highway sign: "Home of Ted Lewis."…read more At first I thought it meant the ballplayer, but I looked him up, and Lewis was a local boy, famous musician and showman. I knew a few of his songs (you do too.) And I think I've heard parodies of him from Spike Jones and Looney Tunes. Plus I'd been to the park he donated to the city. The museum is small but amazing. His tux and top hat, movie and concert posters, instruments, and much more, all artfully arranged and carefully described. Interactive stations to listen to and watch Lewis perform. A small theater in the back with clips from his appearances on Ed Sullivan. He played with lots of other famous people. Also a bit of Circleville history, about the circle and other mounds the place was built on. Built in 1848, the building seems to be the last remaining original lot; if you look closely you can see how it is wedge-shaped. Later lots and buildings were reshaped to follow right angles. The docent was very informative and enthusiastic. It's free, but of course they could use a donation. Highly recommended for any history buff, local resident, or music aficionado.

I'd rate it a solid 3.5 but for the sake of the stars, I'm giving it a 4 - especially for a free…read morefair! Friday around noon was so busy, but it was expected since the weather was gorgeous. There are mostly good vendors above all else, but it's also the best blooming onion (and I look forward to it every year!) We park for free and walk a bit of a distance. I love seeing the homes decorated for Halloween! We don't ride fair rides, but we do live to people watch and, this year, we caught the pet parade which was really great! So much bigger than I ever expected and some very sweet pets in adorable costumes!! Love trying the different treats. Though it's not homemade, I got a pumpkin roll from the Shriners booth and it was pretty tasty and for a good cause. Also purchased some homemade buckeyes from a church group that were awesome. Always love seeing the giant pumpkins, too! I do wish they had more local vendors for buying gifts. The vendors are mainly cheap mass produced junk shop goods (and a lot of gross political things.) Just not my vibe at all. I still think it's worth a visit though! It's well run and a great way to get into the spooky season!

Through my own visions of the future she brought up and gave me more clarity. It's like someone that is brought up to speed that you can talk with. It's hard talking with people that need to understand the basic parts of your story. So it was refreshing to talk with someone that gets it. I'm a complicated person and not a easy read. She really cared and she helped. A few advice, check her directions she provides you have to drive down the driveway. An important thing is try to understand your main goal of coming out. My goal was to get more clarity to my problem. She helped me fill in the blanks of my confusion and helped me with game plan.
