Southwest public library system is connected to Columbus Metro, so it's all accessible. yes! The location in historic downtown Grove city is also a major plus.

Bigger place than I expected. Large kid's area with activities. Kid K wanted a teen manga, and they have tons of those. They also have "stuff" to check out: backpacks, games, etc. We had to ask for help, and staff were super friendly and helpful. They weren't busy on a summer weekday afternoon. The entire staff couldn't wait to assist us. We received a free hour on line. We were able to print some much needed tax pages, for a very small fee. We listened to some music and read for an hour. If I knew we would be staying, I would have applied for a library card. That really opens some doors. With your individual card you qualify to check out books, cd's, dvd's and believe it or not, jigsaw puzzles. There are way too many perks to list here. Multiple floors of rows and rows of books. Lots of rooms for various purposes. Plenty of bathrooms on all floors. And also a lot of options like chairs, couches, and benches to sit on. There were gorgeous stairs off the main lobby but also a spacious elevator. The cafe inside was also a nice surprise and the coffee was pretty good! All in all I look forward to visiting again!

I was looking for a specific book and it wasn't available at my branch. I really didn't want to…read morewait for it to be sent inter-library so I found where it was supposed to be in. This branch was located less than 2 miles from a friend's house where I was going for a party that day. It's right off the freeway and had plenty of parking. Having never been here before, I walked in and looked around. Hand to God, the 2 staffers I encountered working there both looked at me and smiled and said hi. Super nice for a 1st impression. I wandered straight ahead to get a feel for the lay out and was quickly able to find the non-fiction section. As I neared the place in the stacks where my book SHOULD be, I think I was holding my breath - having been unable to find books that were "in" way too many times. But sure enough - the book was right where it was supposed to be. I grabbed it and walked back towards the doors. I figured the check outs would be there - and they were. I love how simple it is to sign out a book at any of the CML locations. I punched in my info, scanned my book and printed the receipt which I use as a bookmark. WHile I don't have reason to get to this part of town, I would gladly return as this was a great library with excellent staff!

This is a nice library location within the Fairfield County District Library system. Though it is…read morenot a large building, they make very good use of space inside. It's cute, clean, and nicely decorated. There are a couple of stacks with books and DVDs, a small computer area, and nice seating. The back portion of the building is an Early Literacy Center for ages 6 and under and their supervising adults. It has a very nice set up with toys, imaginative play items, tables with coloring sheets and crayons, and, of course, books. It's also nice that they offer a sink with a stool available right in this section. The staff is friendly, and there is a parking lot. The outside of the building has a nice looking garden/habitat area, which is probably even nicer during warmer weather. We did, however, get a good eyeful of nature when a hawk grabbed its lunch and settled in to devour it. They are closed Sundays and have limited Saturday hours (10-2).

They hold 3 family storytimes every week and monthly programs. While most of their programs are for families they also have a homeschool program. The crown jewel is the Peter Rabbit Story Garden complete with gold fish. Kids just love to go check on the fish at each visit. They are closed on Mondays but they take that day to clean and disinfect toys.

We are lucky to have a great library system in Franklin County, often rated one of the best in the nation, with many branches, which are being upgraded regularly. Great staff, large selection, easy to reserve. Not to mention the programs and events and electronic offerings. Honestly, one of the centers of the community and a driver of excellence.

But this new library is incredible. I especially like all the "New Book" areas. Tons of spots for your little ones, your teens or maybe you just want to sit and relax and plug in or unplug. I'm surprised it hasn't been reviewed, and that I didn't review it. They have remodeled a couple times over the years, and it is incredible now. Lots of stacks, in an old building with interesting rooms and niches. They also have a pretty good selection of nice reading rooms. It's a beautiful building in an historic town. Support your library; it supports the community.

As far as libraries go this is one of my least favorite visits…read more The book drop is almost hidden from view as a first timer, I needed to ask where to drop off my books. The kids section has a nice open space to do reading times but it is not a separate room so checking out books during a reading time could be distracting. The library is not very large and is not aesthetically pleasing. I felt like they crammed the books in to as much space as possible. The private parking lot was full as was much of the open spots around the building. A few positives are the amount of comfortable seats in this place. The staff is very friendly and there is street parking right outside the front door. It seems Grove City needs to build a bigger library for the growth of the city. I was a little shocked at how small it was. This space just felt crammed.

Such a tiny little branch of the Pickerington Library system. But an important one!…read more They still feature the same variety as other branches, only at a lower quantity. We like to take advantage of the private rooms for solitude and reflection. While we don't live here, we brought in proof of temporary residency in the state and they gave me a library card. We occasionally exceed the two hour limit on the Internet computers, but with no one else here, they usually demonstrate a very lenient attitude and keep extending our time. The workers here are always gracious and very knowledgeable. We tease one lady calling her "smarter than google" One of my long term goals is to read every book in the biography section! I'm on number 2. This may take some time. 06/24
