The mall has a decent variety of stores including Macy's, Sears, and JCPenney as the 3 larger department stores.

Now we went there after we were at Sears and could not find what we needed. And I actually suggested the Shoe Fly store because I saw a commercial that touted their expanded orthopedic services and figured it was what my Pap Pap needed. So we got there and they took care of him right away. They got him the shoes that he needed and also assisted in critiquing the special elastic shoelaces that he needed. At the end the fit was right and we were very satisfied with the whole experience. So a year later I went back...solely on the satisfaction and the strength of the service they provided my Grandfather. Now I didn't have that much to spend and I knew that the high quality footwear they had wasn't exactly cheap.....the highest quality never is. But I went looking for a reasonable bargain. I walked in the store and told the guy what I had to spend and the guy behind the counter looked around and got me a nice pair of chocolate brown New Balance 900 Hiking Boots with Gore Tex Lining, AB-SORB soles and with a "Guaranteed Waterproof" rating.............for $80 dollars!! And these turned out to be the best pair of boots I had ever owned. They lived up to the guarantee of the superb materials used in their construction. But that was not all. These boots bordered on MAGICAL as they genuinely transformed me, the wearer. I recall wearing them to a health care plaza on one occasion. And instead of being looked upon as what usually would be a stereotypical disrespect, suddenly I was looked at and treated as if I was one of the doctors or another respected professional, except perhaps out of uniform at the end of the work day and headed to my Corvette, Mercedes or high end SUV. And for two years after that, after I thoroughly beat the hell out of these New Balance boots, I found myself turning to them for shoveling duties on multiple properties and occasions over the subsequent winters....actually turning to them rather than my military MICKEY boots that were rated to sub zero temps. So honestly this was the best buy and experience for me boot wise. And when I can afford it, and If THE LORD wills, I will definitely go back to Lasser's Shoe Fly. Plus I know now that they carry the Irish Setter brand boot. And that will be the boot that I purchase next. Now I went out of my way to write this review after seeing a one star review when I looked up their site. And I did so due to my good experience there. So I think that perhaps in the crush of providing excellent service there was a miscommunication over the phone and a error was made. It happens. And these situations account as common human errors that we all make in the course of modern business. Surely these errors should not be enough for the reasonable patron to be permanently offended over.

I don't think so I said well then they aren't in. Well we get our shoes in after noon so someone will call you. I looked on my phone and someone from there did call me Saturday. Later they did call around 3 to say they are here. I picked them up. No thank you or anything.

Honestly, I was not even aware they had a factory store, but it is still no surprise to me that they do. When we got here, I wasn't even sure that we were here at first. It is very unassuming outside and the parking lot is a bit of a mess. You really can't tell were you are supposed to park, but you figure it out eventually. Also, the sign is kind of hidden from the road, so when you pull up you really don't see it. You walk a small path and you are inside the store. That is after you open the door with the pretzel handles first. Once you are inside you are off to the races and able to pick whatever flavor or style of pretzels you want. They also have other snack items here as well ranging from chips to popcorn. I ended up grabbing myself a snack item to eat in the car. Items come in bags or boxes. There are signs hanging all around with the prices or deals that might be going on for a certain item. What is a bit off putting here is the customer service. The ladies working the register can be quite terse at times. They kind of want to just get you through the register as fast as they can so that you can get out of the store as fast as you can. But you can do it a bit more politely. As for the older reviews that say they don't take cards, I'm fairly sure five years time and that is corrected at this point.

I do have to say that this location is in need of an update. Some reorganizing may be in store, especially since each of the locations have added that craft section. They need to make sure that there is a flow to the space. I noticed that there are some continuity issues. Staff were polite, when you did interact with them. But it seems like they were suffering from the staffing shortage that everyone has dealt with recently. This made for check out to take a bit longer than intended, but it is part of what is to be expected. The staff that were working were there working hard. (I had heard that Dollar Tree would start to sell products that cost more, but I did not yet see any pricier products inside this store during my visit.) The departments in this store included food, housewares, party supplies, health products, office supplies, toys, cleaning products, etcetera. I bought many personal care products, office products, candies, pet supplies, and holiday decorations. The cashier Aaron was very nice. He quickly and accurately rang up my times, and he wished me a great day.
