Came back with my friend to try the fried version of their lamb momos & the newest vegetarian flavor (forgot the name but it has cabbage, mushrooms, paneer, and spices). Lamb momos were a 10/10, although I still prefer them steamed. Veg feature momos had great texture but my friend and I found them to be very strong in cumin flavor without really tasting like anything else. Dousing it in hot sauce and soy sauce helped but it would've been nice if it had more of its own flavor. 6/10, probably wouldn't order again but they got me pretty full considering its fiber content. Lamb still remains my favorite, my friend who tried these for the first time also seemed to agree. They were perfectly spiced & very juicy. Mango lassi is still mandatory! They get busy SO quickly and their small team of 2-3 employees do such an amazing job at delegating and getting everyone's food out at a reasonable time. Picked up some momos on the go, they seemed to be more of a grab and go spot. Although the interior wasn't the most up to date it felt cozy. This is a staple in the neighborhood and a great place to share bite-sized foods without committing to a whole dish. They are a family-run restaurant serving Tibetan dumplings also known as momo's. Food: The momo's taste the best when it is made fresh and at least warm in temperature. I normally purchase the frozen beef momo's and then steam them at home. They are the most juiciest and the flavour of the filling really comes through when they are still warm. I will admit it took me several times eating momo's to truly enjoy the fillings flavour. At first I thought it was simple but there is a signature taste that builds as you devour each dumpling. Add in a bit of the orange hot sauce for some extra flavour and kick. And it happens to be my 2025th Yelp review! From the flavors to the quantity to the price - this is an exceptional spot to try! Loga's is a no frills spot serving up Tibetan Momos. They're known for their beef ones so we got them the traditional (steamed) way along with some chicken ones that were fried so we can try both options. The Steamed Beef Momos are fantastic! The dumpling almost falls apart in your mouth; it's not too doughy and is cooked perfectly. The seasoned beef on the inside is so addicting too. The Fried Chicken Momos were also pretty great. The dough is slightly harder to bite through when fried but the chicken was seasoned well. I absolutely loved the sauces alongside it. Loga's Hot Sauce (orange bottle) is no joke! It doesn't look like it'll be that spicy but trust me, a little goes a long way. The soy sauce & chili oil also paired well with each bite. I'm really glad we got the Mango Lassi mainly to cut through that spiciness from the sauces. It doesn't have a strong mango taste which I would've preferred but still good. My friend from university brought me to this hole-in-the-wall spot and I absolutely loved it! At only $9 for each set of 10 momos, you can fill your belly with a lot of authentic Tibetan food without breaking your wallet. We ordered and shared steamed beef momos, steamed lamb momos, and fried chicken momos. I personally liked the steamed momos more than the fried ones, since they were juicier, however, I thought we made the right decision getting a combination for variety. The mango lassi also helped add some sweetness to balance out the hot sauce I used to dip the momos in. One thing I noticed after our meal: there's a second location just steps away on Queen Street W. Tried the potato momo (crispy outside and soft inside), pork momo, beef momo, and chicken momo. All were very juicy and the skin was the right thickness. The potato momo was my favorite. This place has a small menu: momos & beef noodle soup are the only food available. Fried pork momos were good - crispy & moist, with a subtle herb flavour. They can be accompanied with vinegar, orange hot sauce or red chili sauce. I found the hot sauces spicy without adding depth. Beef noodle soup was big for $9, but the soup was extremely light. Stick to the momos. Butter tea was decent - it was just butter in tea (yeah, if you know where to get Yak Butter tea, please PM me). Mango lassi was pretty good. This is really a great hole-in-the-wall place that impressed us a lot. The service is quick and while you wait, the kind and humble owner will give you soft serve for free. He's super nice and makes it a point to make conversation with everyone in the restaurant. The Momo's and the sauce are pretty great. We totally doused the Momo's in the sauce and then added chilli oil to take it to the next level. All this for $10 is really great value. We loved the chili oil so much that we bought a bottle of it for $5. Overall, a real gem. The owner very excitedly showed us the patio he's going to add in a few weeks. Mango Lassi I get all 3 of these every single time. To be honest, 1 order is enough & filling for 1 person, but, one's meat and one is vegetable, gotta have both. also need to have the creamy and sweet mango Lassi to balance it all out. Also get a side of hot sauce. I personally can only mentally appreciate hot sauce and physically cannot handle it, but it's good!! Line moves very quickly and food is served within a minute most times. They'll give you a wait time ETA if they have to cook some fresh for you. They have plenty of seating within the restaurant. Classic dinner tables: it feels like eating in your Asian parents' dining room. The difference between ordering to go vs dine in: All served in foil. To go: served in styrofoam to go container. Dine in: served in styrofoam plate. This is a very minimalist, no frills type of place. Even with the service, it's direct. Do not expect someone to clean up your mess for you!! Please throw your trash out and help keep the place clean. I have been visiting Loga for at least 10 years. HIGHLY recommend others check this place out and then keep coming back. The service is fast except when they have to make more momos, if that's the case, expect to wait 20-30mins. I got fried lamb momos and beef noodle soup. I thought the noodle broth was bland but once you add the sauces (available on every table) it was tasty! I enjoyed my fried Momo's however, it was a bit dry. We ordered 3 boxes of momos: fried chicken, fried potato, and steamed beef. The fried momos are really amazing. They're served piping hot, are juicy, and flavourful. I wasn't as impressed by the steamed beef momos, but when I took them home and pan fried them they were amazing!! You seat yourself and every table has bottles of sauces. The hot sauce is amazing, it definitely meets up to the hype! And the seating area was clean and spacious. This is a good place to have you're weekly vent session. Yes, you'll have to wait outside to get in but it's worth the wait. I ate 11 dumplings bc it was so good. Get the potato momos fried. They come out hot and fresh. Chicken momos were my favorite. So good. The beef momos were alright. The veggie momos were different and had a unique taste, but it was still good. They don't serve butter tea in the evening. By far one of the best meals I've had in Toronto so far. We came here on the recommendation of a Toronto native and boy were we happy. The outside is unassuming which masks the perfection that is inside. The Momos were all perfectly steamed, with thick wrappers and flavorful stuffing. Each of the momos comes prewrapped in sets of 10, whicch are handed to you almost instantly. The potato balls, at a $1 each, could be a meal in themselves.The Beef Noodle takes slightly longer (e.g. a few minutes) but is well worth the price. The broth is light yet flavored well with actual beef chunks. I would give this place 6/5 stars if I could. DEFINITELY make your way here! Friend always said great things about this place so after his suggestion we went. I tried the beef and chicken momo. The momos themselves had a very nice taste (Beef being my personal favourite). The flavour was very rich and the overall texture of the dough and taste of the filling was quite different from your typical dumplings (dough being a bit thicker and chewier, which I personally love). The sauce was very good too, albeit a bit spicy for me to handle personally, it was a extremely good add-on to the momos and its taste. Store owner is also very nice and friendly.
