We rented a house she had listed, and she was supposed to resolve several issues before our move-in date, but unfortunately, she did not follow through. The landscaping was overgrown, there were wires hanging from the ceiling, the HVAC vents needed cleaning, and the washing machine was in such poor condition that it had to be replaced. Linda even mentioned in a text that the previous tenant might have washed their dog in it. While most of these issues were eventually addressed, I spent the first month coordinating appointments and being present at the rental for a new washer, having the dryer cleaned, addressing the hanging wires, and communicating with the property owner about the landscaping, which, after nearly eight weeks, still hasn't been resolved. In a text exchange with the property owner and Linda, she stated, "Tell her to be there when they cut stuff down. She knows what can and cannot be cut, right? If she's there, she can't complain. I liked her at first, but now I'm not so sure. I don't think it's the husband at all." Considering the state of the property--hanging wires, a dirty washer, a dryer full of animal fur, and unkempt landscaping--these issues should have been addressed before our move, especially given the $3,500 monthly rent. I urge you to make an informed decision when choosing a realtor.

The response I received more than once was: Linda Bruins is your best choice. My experience confirmed everything I had heard. Linda is extraordinary! Her organization, her professionalism, and especially her thoroughness made the entire selling process a breeze. After having marketed and working diligently to get my home sold, Linda is helping find a new home. She will always be my first choice when it comes to real estate matters.

The price was a little high, but the amenities where great (pool, club house, 2 car garage). Not to mention the relatively close walk to the beach, was a plus. The units definitely needed upgrades, but still decent. The community of Villas of Juno was mostly made up of wonderful working middle class folks and some retirees, so you can tell that most of us were paying a little above our means, no big deal. The COVID shut downs didn't help, but everyone was happy. I remember all of us, down the line of townhouses, would open our garage doors, bring out our beach chairs, BBQs, and enjoy each other's company. Really a great little fun and safe community. In the beginning of 2022, springing this up in the last minute, they told us our rent was going up $1,400. Incrementally $500 per renewal I can understand, but all at once? This was absolutely ridiculous. The housing market was sky rocketing, but HOLY WOW! My family and I had to move out of there immediately. Not that we couldn't afford it, but the principle of the matter. Imagine what this management company will do next? A huge price increase with no talks of renovations. Nothing. Fortunately we found a more welcoming community to live in. I can just imagine the horror the other families have had to go through finding out they must leave or pay over $1,000 per month more for rent. People with fixed incomes or still trying to find income due to COVID. OLEN is a disgraceful greedy company. I've never seen anything like this toxicity in my life. Ruined a really great place to live for dozens of families, FOR WHAT?!!!!! By the way Jan is a really nice person. I hear a few people talk bad about her, but she was just trying to manage the place as per the regulations. The people that had problems with Jan were the people that clearly didn't want to abide by the rules of the community. Jan was fantastic.
