What started as an Etsy shop in 2013 has become a full blown store front with the cutest pieces. I ordered a script name online to be picked up local but they also ship. I scoured the internet for days looking for this specific type of script sign and found Pinecone Home to be the most affordable and with a week turnaround time. The owner even contacted me before she started my piece to recommend going larger since the name was long. She added 5 inches to make it look better AND didn't even charge me for the extra. So awesome. My kiddo and I picked it up exactly a week later and found some cute wooden magnets for $1 in store. They also have a DIY workshop to create your own pieces. I am so, so glad Anderson finally has something like this!

They do provide a suggested price when you check out, so it doesn't feel like an uncomfortable haggling situation. Each artist has a shelf or a little area inside the store. There were some beautiful bird baths and garden stuff. My favorite section of the store is the bookshelf in the back on the left that contains those Arcadia history books. Each one is about a certain piece of Cincinnati's history. Some talk about immigrants, others about neighborhoods, and some about families and companies that have flourished here. I like looking through these books as they are fascinating! I ended up purchasing an "I love OTR" sticker for $2 and am very happy and proud to finally own one. The owner is super sweet and is open most of the time but will open up shop if you have the shop's card and will come down and open it up for you!

He settled for a different one, but as we walked back down the street, she had found it and even came out calling for us to see if he wanted to swap. So nice! The owner apparently is open to taking calls if you need her to open up shop for something when they are closed. This is a great store to browse on a lazy OTR walking day, or if you are looking for some interesting gifts or jewelry off the beaten path.
