Imagine two children old enough to shop with their grandparents on a beautiful sunny day to encounter one of the rudest owners who did the following: Our grandson under our supervision touched a glass with a little porcelain doll that wasn't even harmed in any way. Lois began yelling and scolding them as my wife listened. The scolding never stopped until my wife a well known designer said, enough to the point she never stopped. I think Lois hates children. This is a family community and most are so easy going. Lois you are not kind to children. That called abuse! The reviews on Google are all repeating much of what I've shared. Yes, it is very crowded with product (referring to its few negative reviews); but for that reason there are always new items to find there. Prices vary since the items vary. 99% of the time I visit there we walk away with a diamond in the rough, or a sensational conversation piece. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're willing to look around, and take your time with its unique ambience. The owner is always so informative and in a friendly mood; gotta love service with smile! read more

Lois Lane Warehouse is great, so many amazing vintage pieces all under one roof. We bought 2 beautiful living room chairs and we're so happy with our purchase. Connor was lovely --he refurbished the legs and delivered the chairs just like he promised. A gem of store--highly recommend. FYI I don't know why the negative reviews complain about no prices and being crowded --this is a unique antique store not Ashley's Homestore get over it and stop with the kvetching and the mean reviews--just don't go if you don't like it! read more

First of all .......... Francesca has obviously not shopped many thrift stores/ antique shops ...... treasure shops. This is a true treasure shop. Packed full. In fact I might be making a mistake right now, writing to the yelp universe how great this little gem is. You don't find anything like this anymore. The prices are incredible. Everything looks well taken care of for being such a full store. And the owners seem lovely. It was a breath of fresh air. I would highly recommend going here, and supporting this kick ass store. I loved the Vibe of this store and the fact that it is a unique family-run business. I bought an old vintage desk that I needed for my foyer. I chose the desk and was offered a price that included cleaning it up and staining. It turned out beautifully. Would recommend if looking for something unique. read more

Lois Lane Warehouse undoubtedly has some cool pieces but the whole SHTICK Lois and Connor do with each other and with the customers is just way too much. There's no prices on any items (as the other negative reviews mention) so when you ask a price you're either met immediately with "oh this extremely rare piece of mid century modern history right here is really valuable etc etc etc" or you get Connor doing his classic scripted bit of yelling across the store to Lois, and a back and forth ensues about the price and how Lois is wrong about the pricing it's worth way more ETC. Overall - skip this store. I've been to another mid century style shop on Laurel Ave, prices are a bit high but the owners are much more bearable. read more

Lots of cool stuff ! but : No prices on items, and nothing seems to be cleaned up or dusted ! They will serve you with the same speech over and over again "this item is $ *insert hugely inflated ridiculous price here* and it's because it's so rare you will never see it anywhere else" - Um, really ? ... so, if it is that rare, why leave a stack of antique chests (that you just priced at $350.00 ea.) and many other pieces just rot outside in the weather ? Unless that's the way they bring "antique" or patina to a piece ? The snub attitude and the B.S. was just way too much - we left the store practically running. Too bad :( read more

Awful experience. Bought some stools from this store they offered us a price and we agreed to it. The man was checking us out then starts shouting at Lois saying why are you selling these for so cheap, we're making no money of these stools. Very poor behavior to do around a customer. Ended up leaving the stools there because the other stool had to be applostered. I basically had to chase Lois down for her to finish my stools which ended up taking a month and a half. Within this month and a half I called her twice just to make sure she knew exactly how I wanted the stools to look. After reaching out to her and calling her multiple times finally she told me they would be ready. Went to pick them up and it looked like a 6 year old stapled these stools together. So as any unsatisfied person would do, I told her I wasn't happy with how the stools look and asked if she could fix them she flat out said "too much work with this, no profit for me" after telling her 3 different times exactly how I wanted the stools to look like, she had the nerve to respond to me this way. She also kept saying to me "return the stools I can sell them for more money". This store just wants your money. They don't care about making the customer happy whatsoever. Don't waste your time going there. read more

Recently discovered this place. It is totally for me and I will be sure to be back next time we are in Kelowna. Piles of antique suitcases, all kinds of fascinating furniture form mid-century modern to antique. If we had not been driving a rental car we would have loaded up ! My mate purchased a beautiful antique hat box. This place is full of treasures and bargains- if you're the kind of person who loves to find a gem. Maybe not the best place to shop with little kids - lots of things piled on things and fragile items everywhere. But to while away a few hours browsing is really no problem. Had a good little chat with the guy ( think he was the owner). He was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back read more
