The pizzas are made out of gummy bears and are packaged in a pizza box. This store vacuumed-sealed the pizza so it would not shift in transit. (Something that I learned from a previous purchase.) The pizzas and cakes make a fun gift for children or adults. The shop has gummies in every shape and flavor. Lakritz (licorice) is also very popular. It was light and refreshing, yet not overlay rich. It was perfect for a hot summer day. They are known for their luxemburgerli but it was during the heat wave when we went and it was so hot that I wasn't in the mood for anything too sugary so I didn't get any to try which I really regret and would love to try them out next time I'm in town. Service was quite slow. We waited for over 15mins before we were seated even though there's tables available. And no one came to acknowledge us during that time as well. It's right by the airport. (And by that I literally mean inside the airport). So, it's super convenient for souvenirs while you're traveling. They sell them by the weight and oh my goodness! Each one is a bite of heaven. We ended up buying almost twelve or so and worried that we might have bought way too many. But, we quickly learned there's no such thing as too many. They are simply divine. Just a little bit of crunch and gooey deliciousness. My favorite one was the Rose with Strawberries. (at least I think it was strawberries... chances are it could also be raspberries!) But, honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the options. Another unusual one I enjoyed was the Strawberry Rhubarb. The only thing I would warn you about is watiting to long to eat them. They're sooo good the first day or two, but get stale if you wait a week. So eat up! While you're here, don't forget to pick up some truffles too! Those are just as good as the luxembergeli, but luckily last much longer. I didn't try any of the unusual flavors, but all their chocolate was the bomb. The white chocolate truffles were absolutely my favorite of all. I wish I could say I'll be back soon, but I guess I might not be able to come back. But, anytime I'm near I'll definitely try to come back soon. For now, I might just have to settle with international delivery for special occasions.

I just received my first shipment and Luxembergerli and chocolates are in excellent shape and packaged ready to serve for a holiday party. Her service was superb. She allowed us to sample a few flavors before making a selection. My #1 selection was candied hazelnut. The hazelnuts are candied before enrobing them in milk chocolate. Other contenders were Blackberry Raspberry, Salted Caramel and the Blond chocolate oh my. The store is beautiful. What I enjoy is you purchase choc by the slab vs piece so you can buy as little or much as you want. Then I find out they're in the States as well!

The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the aroma of fresh chocolate and displays of their famous slabs, pralines, and seasonal creations. Everything looks (and tastes) amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful, offering samples and explaining the different flavors, which makes the experience fun and welcoming. CHF9.90 for 100g from the slabs isn't that bad. They are quite the size of your palm and that is quite big enough to enjoy. You can get a smaller size too if you want to try them all. It's a great spot for picking up gifts to bring home, but honestly, you'll probably want to treat yourself too. A sweet highlight of my Zürich trip.

Their chocolates aren't the best but also not the worst - not as bad as American chocolate. They hail from Lucerne. This shop has two floors: first floor has ready-to-eat food: cookies, cupcakes, cake slices, and sandwiches. The first floor is busy and chaotic. The second floor is where you'll find chocolates and their chocolate wall. It's the only reason I came here. I wasn't planning on buying a lot of chocolate from here. They copied Sprüngli's Luxemburgerli. They didn't even change the name.

We were a bit disappointed by the options for breakfast at all but one of the paninis was already gone when we got there, though the one that remained--the Poulet Curry--was quite good. My struggles with European coffee continued with their latte macchiato but the cinnamon roll was quite good. We explored the chocolate floor as well but because we were on our way to Lindt, did not buy any so I cannot comment on if it was any good or not.
