Bruce: you're asking me how often I beat my wife. Me: excuse me? I don't think jokes about domestic abuse are relevant here. Bruce: you're accusing us of not treating the back yard. Me: no, just wondering if now that we're home if you needed to get back there to finish. That's why I phrased it as a question. I've had Bruce spraying for weeds and caring for my lawn since 2001. Now that I'm married, my husband uses his lawn care company and absolutely loves him. One of the nicest guys around. I've read 3 other reviews that seem to me as if it's actually the same person, disguised as someone else and seem to be false statements. read more

I just spoke with Bruce about spraying our vegetable garden. My wife watched one of his guys do it and then they denied it. I asked for a refund and he said FINE and hung up. I called him back and asked him if he normally hangs up on his customers. He said..YOU ARE GETTING A FULL REFUND! WHAT ARE YOU DEAF?! And then hung up again. I would definitely recommend staying clear of Bruce and lone oak. read more

I got a quote from him for lawn care August of last summer. I didn't get around to setting up service for that year. This Spring I called to set up service. I told him I had him out last August to give us a quote and that we would like to start service this Spring. I gave him the address and he got upset saying that I gave him the go ahead to start it last year (which I didn't) but I never returned his calls (I did miss one call). He than said that wasn't a very pleasant experience for him and then hung up on me.I had used his service before and recommended him to others as I like supporting local businesses. The interaction was so odd, unexpected and unprofessional I obviously am not going to be recommending this company again. read more
