We carry a full line of Western and English riding apparel including boots, hats shirts, belts, gloves and helmets. We also have Western and English saddles and tack as well as horse care and grooming products. We offer lay-a-way and special ordering and consider ourselves "The home of 'Dog-Gone' friendly, personal service".

History

Established in 1995.

Lone Star Western Store was started in a garage by a friend of mine. I purchased the store from her in 2001 and move it to Shields. We outgrew our first location and have moved twice since then expanding our inventory along the way.

I'm two weeks from my next pay check and needed money today. Save your energy until you don't actually need the money, they really don't want the business. This is the second time I was there, and I never felt welcome. There is another FFL dealer in town who deals with used guns, I will be going there. And there are other Pawn Shops to deal with in Bay City. I recommend staying away from the one that refuses business.

I've experienced three times personally and they weren't the greatest at handling the situation. Last run In was me paying $300 to get a generator back that they bought off my brother for half that. I'm not against pawn shops but when you keep buying from the same person who's family has come down looking for their goods on several occasions isn't a great business practice. I mean, you usually take a drivers license or ID for transactions, how hard is it to not from certain people
