Well Mark was a no show. 3 weeks ago early April I contacted Mark , talked to him , explained our situation , he informed me he wouldn't be able to come out until at least April 20th then he would assess the problem. Well April 20th came and went , no Mark. Fortunately Ready Electric came to our rescue. Troubleshooted our problem, gave us options, and set an appointment. Mark is one of those rare birds in his industry. He is honest, fair, kind, communicative and intelligent. He quickly and efficiently diagnosed the problem with our boat within a few days where it took our other mechanic about 7 months. We called mark after being thoroughly frustrated after we had gotten our boat back from our previous mechanic. Our mechanic had our boat for 7 months and still our problem was not fixed. Mark came down to our dock the same day as i called him. He is responsive and respectful of our time and always seems to be able and willing to help, which is not the experience we have had with past mechanics. Mark is one of the few boat mechanics I can fully trust to work on my boat & not overcharge me. I've had an issue with my boat over the past year and have been burnt by 2 mechanics before that gave up, took my money and never fixed the boat. Mark almost took this up as a challenge and got it done. Awesome find on yelp. Mark and his team fixed our old neglected 1999 Searay Sundancer 260. Gave us a very fair price. We were thinking it had a lot of issues and may cost a lot. After his inspection, there were some parts that need replacement but ultimately all it needed was good old fashion maintenance. Mark is trust worthy. They missed their first 4 appointments, and they never called. I called them after they finally came by and they promised a quote by the end of the day. I called at 4:30 and got the same promise. No quote. After several days, I called them again and they were very apologetic about not keeping their word and being busy. They promised a quote again, which I again never got. No apologies for not calling or breaking their commitments. They may be good workers; I couldn't tell ya, but they are terrible about keeping their word. I needed mechanics.
