The brothers and sisters are all extremely helpful in helping us grow in our knowledge and being helpful when we are facing tribulations. I don't want to go on a tangent but I'll give one example. I had only gone to the mosque once before I became homeless. I brought it up to one brother there and within a few moments he got me a hotel for 3 days, put me in contact with some hiring managers, sent my old car to a mechanic to get fixed.... At that time I was a complete stranger to him! Alhamdullilah! As a revert I also came in very unknowledgeable but the brothers here have been, to the utmost degree, helpful with teaching me. Help with recitation, expanding Arabic vocabulary, tajweed, hadiths, and any other questions I have had they have made a great effort to remove me from a state of ignorance This is the perfect place to come when your spirit needs Allah , your mind needs knowledge, and your heart needs companions. They are also very involved in the community and constantly doing charitable acts like food drives, dawah groups going to different parts of the city to spread the word, and there is a bulletin board filled with all other communal things. The teachers are amazing, especially those who teach the Qur'an, and they make learning really enjoyable. They have a private school called Al-Huda that runs Monday through Friday, teaching Arabic, English, and Islamic studies. There's also a weekend school on Saturday and Sunday, which I personally recommend. Kids of all ages can learn Arabic, Qur'an, and Islamic studies, mashallah. This center is a great place to strengthen your iman, get closer to Allah, and be part of a welcoming community. If anyone wants to learn about Islam or become Muslim, they are very supportive and helpful. I highly recommend spending time here, whether for personal growth or family activities.
