I'm learning my surahs by heart and I'm learning to speak Arabic. She takes her time with each person individually but still hold us accountable for memorizing our lessons. It's such a beautiful sound that touches your soul and grabs your heart. Even if you're a non believer, one would appreciate the beauty. Location is very convenient (off 5 fwy)! So happy there's this beautiful masjid here in Irvine. I was a bit weary of the parking, especially coming for Tarawih prayer. I got in a lil after 8 & there was still lots of parking! I ended up parking in the New Horizons School parking lot. The street parking was full. I am not sure how full the actual parking was in the lot of the masjid. By the entrance there were workers directing people in where to park. The atmosphere is just lovely. The interior feels very very clean & I loved how the sisters area is a mezzanine, & not just a separate room completely blocked off (if you have been to other masjids you know what I'm talking about lol). It was a bit hot in there, which is probably my only complaint. The speakers here were so good & the sound was on point. The way it echoes throughout the masjid is just heartwarming! I love going here so far, the recitation is just amazing. Can't wait to come back again!
