Lo and behold a Pho spot pops up in the middle of Munich. Here you won't find anything extraordinary in this bowl of pho. It's not Sot Vang in Hanoi or Pho Hoa Pasteur in Saigon but at this point you'll eat anything but hot dogs. The owner is an expat apologist of North Vietnam communist regime. You see this in the decor and ambiance so ixnay on political discussions. A normal bowl of pho anywhere else; a 3 Michelin star meal two weeks in der Vaterland.

After returning back from Hanoi I realised how authentic they really are when it comes down to even small details such as the Sriracha hot sauce. For the food quality don't let the smell of oil fool you, the first time I walked in, it smelled of old oil. When eating they are not cooking with it at all. Glass noodles, spring rolls, pho.... The list goes on the price is very reasonable for the serving size and you will not be disappointed.
