Well really Vietnamese and Thai might be more accurate. Food was reasonably priced on a cute alley street. Had crispy duck in red curry sauce, shrimp with crispy vegetables, and traditional pho which was a tad salty but still good. Waitress was busy but efficient and food came out within fifteen minutes. read more

The last night in Munich, we decided to find a Vietnamese Restaurant to try and we found this one on Yelp. It's quite a distance from our hotel to here, but we got to see many different shops along the way. This place is close to the outside farmers market like in Munich where many restaurants open in the day time. The place is small and very crowded, we had to wait for 20-30 minutes to get a table for 4. It's the first come first serve basis, no reservations that we know of. The tables are quite close to each others and the service is quite fast and attentive. The food was actually good. We all liked the appetizer the bo tai chanh (VN carpaccio like beef) and the chicken skewer with peanut sauce. I had the duck with sauce which was quite delicious, my wife had the beef with veggies that was quite tasty. My daughter ordered the bun bo hue which was a mistake, it didn't taste anything like VN bun bo hue any where. I think it's made for the local Germans tastes. Anyhow, it's a nice restaurant with nice decoration and the food is good and the prices are reasonable. We're glad we found this place in Munich. read more

Pho was super oily and I wasn't a fan but to each their own. They didn't even have hoisin sauce?? Spring rolls were good. Service was good. Ambiance was chill. Maybe if I tried something else on the menu I would've enjoyed more. read more

Small, quaint . The pho was delicious but the summer rolls could have more shrimp in them and wish they offered fish oil along with the peanut sauce. Spoke English and didn't make us feel silly because we didn't speak German. As stated before the inside is very small so be prepared to sit very close to people. read more

Solid spot for pho not far off of the farmers market. They have both German and English menus, though interestingly, only the German one has pictures. All good though. Hubs and I both got the pho bo, and we shared fresh spring rolls. Pho was tasty enough on its own that I didn't feel the need to ask for fish sauce or use the soy sauce at the table. Service was quick. Place is smallish, so it got packed quickly (was also the lunch hour), but if we're back in Munich again, would definitely stop by here again. read more

The food and service were excellent here. I recommend the lime, ginger drink; it's refreshing and not too sweet. The chicken dishes are mildly spicy and are loaded with delicious veggies. A nice change from carb-heavy Bavarian fare. Highly recommend. read more

The phở was excellent, with well prepared broth, and tasty meat. The bean sprouts are tasty and a bit fatter than in the USA. The service was typical German style: effective, but not super friendly. I guess that is because tipping is not the norm in Germany. But I would recommend this place without hesitation. read more

The quality of their food is amazing. The broth is absolute perfection. After eating a lot of heavy foods, I was craving a light homey soup and this hits the right spots. One of the best pho I've ever had, you can tell the cooked it with fresh spices and wasn't overly strong with artificial flavoring like other pho places. The noodles was chewy and cooked just right. They also had really good homemade chili oil on the table to add to the broth and it elevated the dish. My partner had their vegan dish and he also enjoyed the quality and taste of his food. This place is so so so good. My boyfriend and I came here - first time in Germany - and we were blown away. Perfect for when you're getting tired of eating potatoes and meat for every meal. The place is super quaint and charming, and the food was delicious! I got the Pho Ga, and my boyfriend got a pho dish with duck (sorry I forget the name). Extremely tasty, fresh food, beautifully prepared. The broths and sauces are light and delicious, and not overly salty or overly sweet (which is apparently what some other, less enthusiastic reviewers are looking for). Eating area is bright and comfortable with the large, clean kitchen visible when you walk in. Located on a busy side street that runs into the Viktualienmarkt, so it's good fun to people-watch from one of the two tables right next to the large open window. Highly recommended. read more
