She was very knowledgeable about skin (health) & educated me some skin issues that I have & offered recommendations. She performed the fastest set of lashes that I've ever gotten. It took her maybe an hour & a half to complete the whole set. I have a lot of lashes so I was fearful that she had done a partial job, but no, my lashes are absolutely beautiful & full. They use the lightest lashes that I've ever worn, & I literally forget that I have lashes on. She didn't use too much glue either, so I don't "feel" my lashes. They are a hybrid between natural and volume and the lashes feel lightweight and I rarely get burning red eyes like my last salon. I also love how sweet these ladies are. The price is reasonable too. Some salons are more expensive for sure! I can usually go a few weeks before needing a fill, so I'm satisfied with how they're lasting. Theyre lash placement is not good, i looked at the lashes that had fallen off and they had 2-4 lashes stuck on 1 fan , the isolation is bad which means it will cause damage to your natural lashes. The lashes them self are thick and hard , they dont feel natural. Also not sure what glue they used but they stuck on a little to well and if i tugged a lash while brushing them it would hurt. read more

I visited a couple of months ago for my first mink lash experience. The process was great. The staff is responsive, sweet, and welcoming. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to wear the lashes for long. My eyes are easily irritated. I don't recall what was said to me but they made me feel at ease. The young lady that installed my lashes worked diligently and was quite gentle. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep during the process. When she was done I could not feel anything but was so pleased when I looked in the mirror. I requested a very natural looking lash. She gave me exactly that. The salon itself is beautifully furnished. Eye candy finishes, just enough sparkle, lots of reflective surfaces, and plushy accents. So glam I felt underdressed in my jeans and tunic. Ha! It's located in the middle of a bustling shopping strip with ample parking just outside its doors. My lashes lasted about 10 days. Several of them hung on for much longer but of course it wasn't very appealing to have 5 or 6 long lashes protruding. I had to cut them. There was some mild irritation throughout the wear and I had lashes shed every day. It wasn't an excessive amount. Maybe 1 to 3 lashes a day. But it felt like money down the drain each time one fell onto my cheek. This is an expensive service. I don't recall exactly what it said but I was required to sign a form with a bunch of stipulations about sharing my experience. I distinctly remember feeling threatened by it. The language used came across like a warning that made me think the owner must be an insecure hot head. I never had any interaction with him or her (if i did i didn't know it)... just my take away. Overall my experience was good and I might have lashes installed again someplace else specifically because of that agreement. read more

I stopped going about a year ago after my regular lash tech was on vacation. Let me start by saying Mia was great! She knew my lashes and understood that some can't take as much weight or visa versa. I was very happy and came back every other week for 2-3 months. I came for a refill before Christmas and I was given another tech which was fine, understandable. When I arrived, they escorted me to my room as usual, I guess a client had came back due to an allergic reaction to the glue and needed removal. My tech came back and said give her 5 mins so she could go and resolve that issue and be back, I was cool with it, 10 mins go by 20 go by, 30 mins, 45 mins. I had to leave to the bank to get cash and come back because it was already almost 5:30 and the bank closed at 6. I left, came back, around 6, my tech was still not done, turns out the other lady was allergic to the remover as well. Meanwhile, I'm just laying there hearing this lady wail in pain next door. My tech finally comes back and starts on my lashes. She took a little longer than Mia did and when she was done, I had redness which is normal and subsides, so I went home. That night my eye is super irritated, I brush my lashes and some came out and I saw that she glued two lashes to my lash instead of removing the old one and putting a new one. I returned for them to fix it, but she had used too much glue and so I just pulled them all out. The thing that I hoped I would never experience with lash extensions happened so I won't be returning. read more

I had such a pleasant experience here! Upon arriving, Mike answered every single one of my questions. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot to good advice. My technician's name was Diana, and she was very kind. She had delicate hands and not once did she hurt me. This is my second time getting lashes, the previous place that I went to which was also my first experience was horrible, the light was too bright and it burned my eyes under my eyelids, even the simple task of taping the pads under my eyes pinched my skin. Diana was amazing and completely professional. I was taken care of. Nothing hurt, not once was I poked in the eye and I was at such ease I even fell asleep! My boyfriend sat in the chair beside me in the room, so that was really nice. I got the groupon deal and paid an extra $15 dollars and got the premium. My lashes are long, full and beautiful. I'm a college student so I'm pretty much only able to get my lashes done on breaks. With this being said, I ask my lash tech to try to put them on so that they'll last as long as they possibly can, and they always do. Many times it's taken over 2 months for ALL of my extensions to come out. The only thing I can say is annoying about this place is that they're expensive to me, but like I said I am a college student so money is always an issue. I know that there are many other lash places that cost A LOT more and others that cost less so it depends on your preference of quality really. read more

LONG REVIEW- I've held off on writing a review for awhile now because I wanted to be as fair as possible, but I've been coming here for almost a year now- since January 12, 2018 and wanted to share a couple of things. Let me start by saying I've been wearing lash extensions religiously for almost 3 years now (refills every 2-4 weeks, volume) and my eye shape is not easy to do. Unfortunately, the girl I used to do them with moved after 2 years, so for the last year, I've been coming to Long Mi. Because of how I've been doing extensions for so long, I know I can be very particular about how I like them to look. I don't know about you, but when I go anywhere- nail salon, hair salon, lash extension salon, etc., once I find a stylist that produces great quality work, I am loyal to them forever. I like coming in and leaving knowing that the same quality of work can be reproduced consistently time and time again. The staff? Excellent. Super sweet, always great attitude and super helpful. Cleanliness? Perfect. They're on top of it here! Never a speck of dust ever seen and I never had an allergic reaction. Price? Fair. Prices go up each week with refills which is reasonable. (ie. 3 week volume refill is $69, 4 weeks is $79) And now here's where my problem is- if you are coming here for consistent and reliable work, this may not be the place for you. As sweet as the staff is, management can't seem to keep their lash stylists employed here for more than a couple months at a time. In the 10 months that I've been here, again, getting volume refills every 2-3 weeks on average, I've never been to a stylist maybe more than 4 times. My biggest frustration is that as soon as the stylist learns my eye shape, they either get fired or they quit. I move things in my schedule to fit in my refills and have always asked for a courtesy call if my stylist isn't available unexpectedly, but I never am informed until the time of my appointment and then I'm stuck with a stylist that does not know how to do my lashes. Regardless, I still give her a chance and give her time to learn my style because it truly isn't easy, but a couple refills later, she's gone. They pride themselves on teaching the same technique to every stylist but I don't think that's the case. With some stylists, I could easily go 4 weeks, and with others, I could last 1 week, sometimes 2. I always get volume or Russian volume lashes and sometimes, the volume work is done so poor that it looks like a classic set. Consistency is a huge issue and I unfortunately, cannot rely on Long Mi. I am well aware that things happen and employees can quit and move on, but that shouldn't matter if your entire team is trained the exact same way. Everyone can have their own personal technique, but there should be no reason why my lashes with one stylist is mega full and can last a full month, and then the following week, I can't keep a lash on for more than 1.5 weeks. Bottom line, if you're consistently getting lash extensions and want the same quality of work each time, this may not be for you. If you're looking to try it out a couple of times and then stop getting extensions, visit them. read more

I was referred to this place by a friend so I was really excited to go. I spent $80 on my lashes and the next morning they were falling out. I went in on a Friday evening and so I figured maybe they're suppose to shed a little so when I called on Monday I was told that the girl who did my lashes didn't have any availability until Friday and I would have to pay for a refill. And get this, you supposedly have 3 days to come in for them to refill them for free. Not worth the money in my opinion. Today was my first experience at Longmi Lashes and I couldn't have had a better experience. I stopped by the location the day before to schedule an appointment and just get a feel for the place. I was immediately greeted by the lady at the front desk and she gave me a lot of information on their products and pricing. So today I told my technician (Isis) what I was wanting , which was volume and I got exactly that. I've been to other places and was told I wouldn't be able to achieve that because my lashes were thin . Isis put me to sleep (literally) while she did my lashes. Not knowing really what I wanted, but knowing I wanted to start more on the conservative side and maybe add to them and go for a fuller look after a few weeks of getting used to it, I was worried I would get pushed into starting out with a full glam look. I found my new lash place. I loved Diana she is so incredibly sweet. We hugged after she was done she made me feel so comfortable the look and feel is very upscale and they have private rooms. I live closer to inner city Houston so this was a bit of a drive for me but TOTALLY WORTH IT!! I got them the morning of prom and it worked out perfectly. So I decided to try another lash bar other than Amazing Lash because I was over their monthly drafts & membership requirements. I found this company on IG and scheduled an appointment w/ them late Saturday morning. The service was friendly & the environment was nice but the tech stopped to text 3 times during my session, which caused her to run about 15 minutes over and late for her next appointment. It also resulted in my lashes not being completely full! The next day ( Sunday ) a lot of my lashes were falling off and by Sunday afternoon it already looked as if I needed a refill. I reached out to them for a correction and did speak w/ a manager over the phone and a correction appointment was scheduled for Monday. I work in Kingwood so I had to request to leave work 30 minutes early to get thru traffic and make the 6 pm appointment because you must come in within 3 days for a correction. I get there and the manager proceeds to tell me that she spoken w/ her employee and she stated she wasn't texting. She also tried to blame the length of my natural lashes as to why so many of the extensions had fallen off and advised me to do volumes next time ( which are more expensive ) instead of the classic set! This is not a good place to do lashes. They were good before until recently. Now, they are downhill. My right eye was infected from the application and when I tried again, the lashes fell off after 9 days. 9 days!!!When I went back then this dirty looking lady was supposed to do it after she had me waiting for 15mins, she came out and was so rude. Deidra is very unprofessional and nasty. I wouldn't trust my eye lashes with her. STAY AWAY! read more
