Eyebrow threading and tinting was great. But I will never get a facial there again. Most of the time is spent lying there listening to knocks on the wall from next door and customers coming in. She was working alone so had to greet and treat other customers. My major mistake was not asking cost upfront. Prices are reasonable, for threading and eyebrow tinting so dummy me thought for sure facial would be also. It wasn't. $65 for a not so relaxing facial of hot steam and lotions. So I highly recommend and will go back for threading and tinting. But I do not recommend for facials. read more

The only place I trust to get my eyebrows threaded! Simmy (I think that's her name) always does a fantastic job. I've always struggled with having thin eyebrows and I'd fill them in every day. However this time around, I decided to get an eyebrow tint since microblading is way too expensive and I'm in love with the results! It is so affordable and lasts 2-3 weeks. i used to come here all the time, theres 2 ladies that work here. the main one that is there most days is very good. however, the other one completely messed up my brows, twice, and i never went back. i let my brows grow out because i wanted them thicker and flatter, when i went it to get them cleaned up, she made them a whole new shape. 1st pic is when i was growing them out, 2nd & 3rd pic is after she made them so super thin & ugly. the main lady is soooo good though, just not the other one that helps her. read more

Ah.. Simmy's.. Definitely a solid location but I think she gets way too busy that she can't keep up. There needs to be a second threader on site because I've waited over 45 minutes because she had so many clients. That is way too long and I really just should have left. I think she does a good job, but there is room for error because she's so popular. I am not giving 5 stars because there have been more than 1 time that it's been a very long wait and she doesn't even know who is next. I think she needs to do a sign in sheet or something because one time someone was waiting behind a wall (.. someone who was comfortable sitting in the back??) and all of a sudden that woman popped out of nowhere. It actually got a few customers upset (including myself). The professionalism is lacking but makes up for service. Take your pick ladies. Also, prices are going up. I have sensitive eyelids and can no longer do waxing. I don't really like the results of the razor either. All that was left was threading. I have heard horror stories about pain and being cut so I came to Yelp to seek the best. Little did I know she was literally in my backyard. It appears to be her and her hard-working young son running the place. It was very little wait time. I told her this is my first time and behold, those horror stories were all untrue. There was mild discomfort but no pain whatsoever and it was extremely fast. I don't know how how she works so quickly. She gave me very beautiful, symmetrical eyebrows and even showed me how to apply eyebrow powder with a brush which I ended up buying LOL. I used to go to a threading place that was conveniently across the street from my neighborhood, but after 2 years of inconsistency and uneven eyebrows, I knew I had to find a new place. When I first arrived, I explained my situation and right off the bat she knew what to do. My eyebrows came out completely uneven!! From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out, Simmy was on the phone the whole time talking to a friend. She didn't say a word to me. This wouldn't have bothered me if my eyebrows hadn't come out noticably different from each other. While threading my brows, she propped the phone between her ear and shoulder. I didn't think much about it then, but I guess it limited her mobility to do my brows... When I looked in the mirror, my heart dropped. My left brow (right in the pic) is much thinner in the front than the other brow. I did not want her to thin out the other brow as well, so I told her to stop. Now I feel like I can't leave the house without filling and evening them out. How did she not notice?? LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING i love it. i usually go to a location on barker cypress and they do well too but this is so much better. i was a little skeptical since its connected to a gas station but! it was great. Im very sensitive with my brows, like im a twitcher when i get them done but it was almost painless. she was very quick, very polite, and wonderful. best of all, Im a broke college student and eyebrow threading is only 7$!!!! just perfect for me. Very clean location as well. the only con i could say is that she needs at least one other person to help her out! when i arrived there were already 5-6 people waiting and she was the only one there. within the 10 minutes i was in the chair, 3 more people showed up.
