On this 1.2 acres, once stood the greatest concentration of oil wells in the world, producing more than 2.5 million barrels of oil!! It's free, and easy to spot because of all the oil derricks!! The history on the plaque was definitely an interesting read, I did see one oil pump here also. There's paths to walk under the oil Derricks along with places to sit down. A very nice historical place in the middle of the town!!

I didn't cover the entire trail when I was there. There are maps in multiple places showing you where this trail goes. One map is next to a dog park and parking lot, the other is next to another parking lot. The trail is paved and flat where I ran, other parts take you under a bridge and through some areas with lots of trees. I definitely enjoyed my morning runs here, a very good place for runners and walkers to go in this city!!
