And despite me arriving 15 minutes early, he left me sitting in the waiting room for over 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment. I paid for legal support and got dismissiveness, arrogance, and wasted time. Retiring or not, clients deserve better. To make matters worse, Mr. Durham delayed releasing my case file after I terminated services until I threatened them with contacting the Kentucky Bar Association, dragging out an already stressful process. I was expecting a refund, however, they wanted to charge me even MORE than what I'd already paid. His final invoice was padded with excessive charges- $75 for a single summary letter and hundreds more for redundant 'review' and 'emails.' Even basic client communication was billed as though it were complex litigation. After I disputed the charges, the firm only waived the remaining balance when I made it clear I was ready to involve the Kentucky Bar Association. That's twice I had to threaten them with the Bar Association, and they caved both times. Beware.
