It was busy and the place was short staffed, so after seating me the owner kind of forgot about me. Was super apologetic, but I couldn't blame him it was bustling and I think he only had two other people there, one being the cook. The food was tasty. I had the bacon eggs Benedict and a crepe with Nutella and a mocha. All were good. The food came out promptly, and the service was good given the circumstances. I also liked the ambiance of the place. Feeling of a cozy coffee shop but set up for meals.

They'll brew up a pot of v60 style coffee on beans from Copenhagens Coffee Collective, and you can also choose to grab a bag from Five Elephant to bring home.. There's usually aussies working behind the counter, and while you can certainly hear hem, they're not many enough - meaning you will have to be patient during peak hours, as it can take a little while before the coffee is delivered to your table. But since the coffee is so great, you'll quickly forgive.. There's cakes, bagels and free wi-fi too. Password changes regularly, so always ask.

We sat outside but inside looked really nice as well. I can highly recommend the loislane special with bacon, it was delicious, I only wish I got a second egg with it! I'll definitely be returning and can only recommend you to go and try it out! It's off the weird Main Street of neuköln, and thought at first, where the hell is a cool brunch place off of that street? No way! But it's just down a small side street tucked away where I've driven passed it for months and had no idea it was there until today. Glad I checked Yelp or I probably would have never gone! The place is cozy and comfy, and the regulars hanging out there were very friendly and offered us some suggestions for things to do in the area - the Templehof nearby would be a great place to take your coffee to go, if that's what you're looking for! Alternatively, inside is Fine for families- that one morning, a group of 5 strollers & moms in jogging clothes came in together for meals. Anyway, I'm definitely returning in the future. I came a bit before opening, but the baristas were kind enough to get my drink going while they were still stocking the case. They were gracious and helpful. Lastly, their latte art was A++. I sampled their cappuccino, some of their black coffee, and a lemon poppyseed cake, and everything was delicious. The portions were sizable and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be making this a regular stop when I'm in the area. Logistical notes: the free WiFi didn't work for me, but there were other public networks nearby that fit my needs. They have clean restrooms. They *do* take cards, but there is a purchase minimum of €4.

I ordered a black coffee, vegan apple crumble to go and the avocado toast with smoked salmon. The toast took a bit longer than I anticipated to come out but when it did the portion was huge - two thick slices of bread and a side salad! It was so delicious I wish I could have finished it all. I took the apple crumble to go as a course side snack for later and it did not disappoint - hours later it was still incredibly tasty! I definitely have this place saved for next time I'm in town regardless of what time it is or what other options are open!

The prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, but it all looked perfect. Also important to note that they don't take credit cards :)
