This is was 16 euros gets you and that's not counting the coffees.

****Sue 2 min for 2 ppl is marked at like 8 EUR*** however the price is actually double since, we were charged 8 EUR each. I think that was complete false advertisement. That is also a lot of money for just breakfast time. Some spreads were better than others. I did absolutely enjoyed my freshly squeezed orange juice and it was a total highlight. And the selection of cheeses were very nice. We had too much food and we actually couldn't eat it all. There was also a nice selection of meats that my husband enjoyed. I loved the look of the coffee shop which is what drew me to the place. But the prices are definitely why this place was empty.

Cafe is very comfy! And has a good vibe to it! But what impressed me the most was the fact since they take cash only, and I had none on me, they'd let me go find an ATM! I think that is really sweet the fact that they'd be so trustworthy of a stranger:) Anyway! Thanks for waiting!:) Will make sure to come back next time I'm in Berlin!

Very cute place, I judge places by their iced coffee and here it was excellent. This is the perfect place for Students and Hipster.

From the open faced sandwich with avocado cream, to the mini pancakes with maple syrup, the scrambled eggs which are served in tiny pans, and my absolute favorite: the flipper killer - a tuna melt sandwich, Suicide Sue is THE best place in Prenzlauer Berg to go for a weekend breakfast. I like to savour the food together with a good read, fresh OJ and a cortado (just not the sweetened one please! make sure you order the right one).

External view (winter), coffee, inside view, food. A picture doesn't do service to the place. Go experience it.

Suicide Sue is a trendy, hip, original, and cozy coffee shop. Google their page and read the intro in English. It will give you an idea of the kind of place it is. It's the kind of place that makes Berlin special, and me love Berlin. Around the coffee shop you will find a wide range of books (from a super-hero encyclopedia to serious literary tomes), which are not only decoration. There are both shared and private party tables. Or you can just sit on the window bar. I came here on the dead of winter (-6°C), therefore I could not enjoy the outside seating. The hostesses are friendly, courteous, and sport a beautiful smile all the time. The coffee is good, the food is fantastic in presentation and good in taste. I ordered a Mafia-something and it came on a beautiful wooden board, and it was very tasty (and full of protein). It is the kind of place you come to NOT IN A HURRY, and please, not acting American. Chill, appreciate, enjoy. (I am American - I refer to our always-in-a-rush behavior.) ;-) Peace!

Nice tables outside but mediocre food and not very vegan friendly. Some of the staff seems nice but a bit of an attitude from one of them.

They have been closed for rennovations and just opened again recently, so I'm glad I got to stop by here while on vacation. The restaurant was pretty packed on a Saturday evening, but we were able to grab the other end of a long table to eat at. They currently don't have any menus in English, but the waitress was happy to explain dishes we couldn't understand. The menu is filled with some starters, tapas, burgers, and desserts. We decided to share a variety of items and got 3 tapas (fried chicken, pulled pork, and bao bun) and the triple cheeseburger with bacon. Out of the 3 tapas, I enjoyed the fried chicken the most. It was moist, fried nicely, and not oily. The coleslaw that accompanied it was also good. The pulled pork was also tasty, but I wasn't a huge fan of pairing it with humus. My least favorite was the bao bun. I thought the bun was way too thick...so thick I actually thought it was 2 buns stuck together. The pork however was cooked well and very tender. I enjoyed the triple cheeseburger with bacon. I liked how the burger came out medium rare on a sizzling pan. We left it on there a few minutes and enjoyed eating it medium-medium well. The bacon, guacamole, lettuce, and tomatoes were also on the side, so you can add as much or as little to your burger as you liked. It was definitely customizable! I washed my food down with a mojito, which was just okay. A little too much mint for my liking. I probably should have just ordered from their beer menu! Service was great, with our two waitresses being rather attentive throughout our meal. They happy gave C some paper and crayons/colored pens when he asked for them.

Coming back to food - you find things on the menu which you usually don't easily find in Berlin, such as southern fried chicken or corn fritters. We had the latter, which was great.

The Gemüse Kebab with everything was phenomenal--fresh, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. The combination of perfectly seasoned meat, fresh vegetables, and their delicious bread made every bite memorable. I also tried the falafel roll, which was equally impressive. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and it's easily one of the best-value meals in the city. There's usually a short wait, but the ordering system is well organized with a display board showing when your order is being prepared and ready for pickup. The restaurant offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, including shared tables that add to the casual, lively atmosphere. It's also open until midnight, making it a perfect late-night stop, though keep in mind they can sell out of certain items closer to closing time. If you're in Berlin, Rüyam is an absolute must-visit. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had, and I'd return in a heartbeat.

After finding her menu with a quick google search, (ex. American Breakfast), we made the trip from Straßmannstraße to her quaint, comfortable cafe and were immediately graced with her warmth and genuine demeanor. I had a nice ruben as well as some pan cakes that were delicious. We talked about free WiFi and people having out all day over a cup of coffee. I didn't think she minded those kind of customers, but people "stealing" the fee WiFi is not something Sarah is happy with. I totally agree. I was missing a bit of kraut on my Ruben - how typical. But the bread was great, so was the pastrami. Sarah promised to prepare the next one just like I like it. I even noticed some Mountain Dew in the fridge, but I resisted the soda high. Please check out that little gem in the Kiez and be delightfully surprised. I have not received any freebies or other compensation for this review.
