It's nice to have a kitchen store on the square and I am always excited when I find made in USA items in this shop.

Joe and his team remodeled our bathroom this spring, and we couldn't be happier. The reason we…read moredecided to hire Kitchen & Bath Spec. over others we had gotten quotes from was both his reasonable price and his willingness to work with us on our vision. I'm not a professional interior designer, but other contractors wanted to tell us how to design our bathroom in a way that didn't fit with the style of our older, mid-century modern home. We wanted to modernize our bathroom without leaving that mid-century, simple aesthetic behind. Our house was built in 1958, and with old houses come some special challenges -- especially with leveling everything! Joe did a great job laying the tile on our walls and floors so you can't tell there's a nearly 6" difference in the floor from one side of the room to the other. The plumbing was a challenge as well, but in the end everything got sorted out! It was frustrating at times, but Joe and his team were friendly and did everything they could to make everything the way it should be and work with our quirky old house. The only issues we had were electrical, which is also an unusual low-voltage system. As such, some of the switches/lights were routed wrong, and my husband ended up having to switch the wires in the boxes around. It was a minor mistake, which was easily fixed. The pictures really don't do it justice. Our previous bathroom was small, cramped and frustrating for two people to use. Now, after taking out a wall and installing a walk-in shower, freestanding tub, and functional vanity (which Joe helped us convert from a flat-packed dresser), the bathroom is both functional and beautiful. Before, I wouldn't even take a bath in there and hated digging around for things under the vanity everyday. Now it's a joy to relax in there. Thank you to Joe and your team!

A couple of weeks ago I hired Joe to put a heated floor in my tiny bathroom. He was very punctual…read morein coming out to give me an estimate. I tore out the existing floor to save myself a little money. Joe layed the heated floor for me with a ceramic tile floor over that. Once he started the job, he stuck with it because as I pointed out to him, that was my only bathroom, and the facilities are a necessity. He also installed an outside plug for me. The one thing I would have preferred is that I would have liked to have been home while all the work was being done, I did not like having to communicate over the phone. But work schedules did not permit. He was, however, very good about letting me know when he was coming and going so I could plan accordingly. And by the way, my bathroom floor looks very nice.

My family and I hired Darin as our general contractor to renovate our home in Chino Valley. We…read morefound him on Home Advisor and saw the wonderful recommendations everyone had to say about him and Integrabuild. From the first correspondence with him, I knew we found the right person. He was able to clearly layout his entire process and how he runs his operation and to me that is very important. We originally were looking to build from the ground up and after searching through Prescott, Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, all the time he would personally come out to the properties and land, finally settling in Chino Valley. For him to do something like that is completely above and beyond what I would expect from a General Contractor. For us we had him oversee and handle a complete kitchen redo, install flooring throughout, expanding bathrooms, constructing stairs for a deck, and installing a new master entrance leading outside. He was very attentive throughout every step, communicating clearly about timelines, and calming any nerves when adverse things would come up (I don't believe there has been a construction project in history that didn't come with a hiccup or two). For example, we had some scheduling issues due to circumstances beyond anyone's control as we started our project about 1 week before the Covid pandemic. Throughout it all Darin and his employees at Integrabuild were some of the hardest working people I have meet and I was in the Marine Corps. We absolutely love the result and how our house turned out. I would say some of the biggest attributes that set him apart from the rest is communication, managing expectations, and overall work ethic is why anyone looking to hire a general contractor should reach out to him and his team. It will give you peace of mind knowing he will get the job done properly. We will definitely be using them for our future needs!

When the contract was finally signed we thought we were set for winter- until the first snow fall. Shabby workmanship- rather than actually clearing the short sidewalk the crew shoveled a path about 10 inches wide to walk through up to and including the front porch. When I contacted the owner he at first said that it could not be the case so I sent him pictures. He stated that "it would not happen like that again". He went on to tell me that he was in FL for the winter so it was difficult to know what his guys did. The rest of the winter was "hit or miss" on whether the crew would even show up- once again, trying to contact the "boss" was next to k in possible. Ultimately we moved on and contracted with a local kid to shovel- half the price and twice the quality- he even returns phone calls!
