I have seen senior portraits that friends had done with other studios...and I must say Lors by far surpassed my expectations!! So pleased!!!! This is the most disappointing school photography company ! While throughout your child's school years with Lifetouch ,or whatever company your school may use , there are always some options for those less fortunate to still be able to purchase a photo memory of their child. However, when they become seniors Lors is the company of choice making it impossible for some to afford any pictures at all! It is very disheartening to say the least. No discounts or even free shipping are ever available. I have missed 3 of my children's senior years , and I guess I am once again forced to miss out on my fourth childs. Our school switched to this company this year. It's absolutely terrible. They took one photo -- it turned out bad (both of my kids photos turned out bad). You couldn't snap a few so parents have some choices?! Not even going to mention how overpriced it is and the terrible background options. I have great photos of my kids every year from the prior company and now this. Hope we switch back next year. read more

Why does a school photographer only give one pose to pick from? And then force us to buy a package before you can "unlock" single poses. WTF This is a scam, and I'm appalled out school has picked such a ridiculously limiting unprofessional company for our kids photos. If I could give 0 stars I would. My son's photo looked like a sad-faced mug shot, so we rescheduled for another photo. They would only allow two tries the second time and yelled at him when he asked for another shot. That photo was worse. I called to schedule at the studio, and they gave him two more tries, but he was too nervous to ask for another, as he saw a dimpled shadow on his chin. When I saw the photo, there was a black dimpled chin. He does not have a dimple. I emailed the studio and offered to pay for a reshoot so he would not be embarrassed by this photo being placed in a very expensive yearbook at $135. I said that if he could not schedule a redo, then he may opt not to have his photo in the yearbook. I was not rude, but frank and very polite, and stated I am not typically a picky customer and would pay for the reshoot. Ms. Sanchez said no, we touched up, the photo, and this will be the one we are using for the yearbook. My son is usually very photogenic. This photo looks dated, and I was shocked by how rudely we were both treated. I did not contest him being placed in the yearbook for fear that they would make it worse, perhaps adding horns and a big nose, and adding him to the yearbook anyway. Honestly, the quality was horrible, and the images looked like retro pics from 1970. I would never recommend them and hope his High School, Roselle Catholic, reconsiders using them next year. read more

Very low effort and borderline incompetent photographers. Company overcharges like crazy. 3 digital photos are $240 for senior portraits. Just for the photos to turn out bad, mind you. They can't edit. They blended what was obviously my hair into my neck one year. Just horrible. read more

The photogrphers do not know what they are doing. I guess this company hires anyone who can just click with the finger. My daugher's graduation picture were so expensive. The photographer could not tell my kid to look up more nor fix the glasses. The retake was a 50 dollar charge. So we got stucked with bad pictures. I would not recoment this company to anyone. I really wish Yelp would allow 0 stars, 1 star is far too much positive review for this company. This is the 2nd time in 3 years that I have had a problem with Lors Photography while ordering pictures for my twins. (Son & Daughter) Long story short first time I paid for two packages and only received one. It took almost a full year to receive the right package because 3 seperate times they sent the same wrong package. This most recent time i ordered the digital package for my twins. Instead of actually reading the names on the order form they mailed my son two digital packages. Which dont even make sense...who in their right mind would order a digital twice for the same person? I now have to find a way to contact them to receive my daughters to be sent out. read more

I would give the customer service person I spoke to today 0 stars if possible. She tried to gaslight me for saying the transaction didn't go through, and asking if there was anything else they could do about it. She was surprised to hear I was upset that I actually wanted her to do her job. So glad to be done with the school system and never have to deal with this company again. I am currently trying to get a refund for an oder they canceled. I am not sure why they do not respond to emails. If I get someone on the phone, they will tell me that they will refund my order and email me a confirmation, but they do not. It's ridiculous and honestly comes off as scam like. I think I will follow up with both of my children's school districts to highlight why it might be wise to go with another local vendor. ZERO STARS!! This company is the worst! School photos were taken August 2023, received Sept 2023. My child wears glasses and a glare is always to be expected however this year the glare was so bad you can hardly see my kids eyes. I called immediately seeking resolution. The first call the rep took my information and said they will get back to me. Waited a week, no response from them. Called again, the rep Nate, said they will have the glare removed free of charge, they will email the proof for approval in about a week. That was October 10th, 2023. Today is October 19th and I've received nothing. I called them and spoke with a less than pleasant female rep who told me they have thousands of emails, complaints, etc to deal with and that I will be contacted when they can. I wasn't accepting this. There's no reason it should take this long to address. She hung up on me. I called back, this is now my 4th call, requested to speak with a manager. I hear in the background the female rep say "AGAIN?!" I was screamed at by the rep I believe his name was Brad, who said "I WILL GET TO YOUR PICTURE WHEN I GET TO IT!" And then he hung up! I was very taken aback as this is not how normal people treat paying customers! I am not asking for anything ridiculous. I just want their error and lack there of corrected in a timely manner. Clearly this isn't going to happen so I have filed a dispute with the BBB, left bad reviews on every outlet I can, called the schools BOE to make them aware and disputed the charge with my financial institution. I will never ever order anything from this horrid company again. I really hope the school goes back to LIFETOUCH bc LORS PHOTOGRAPHY LLC is trash. They need a revamping of staff, training in ethics, etiquette, and maybe consider dissolving the company. I will not stop until I'm heard and judging by the numerous complaints and poor reviews it's a good chance the school will not be using their services anymore. D- rating on BBB btw. I was looking for my brother's​ graduation photos and out of the two giant folders they had I only found ONE photo, the quality is not there, you cannot even see his face. The angles they used for graduation pictures were horrible they probably just rushed the photos and didn't​ even take the time to edit them. If I could give them zero stars I would! What a horrible experience. Neither one of my kids liked their school yearbook photo. On the day of pictures, my son asked if he could get his photo retaken and the girl said no. I called up Lor's photography and asked them when they would be coming back to my children's school for retakes and they gave me a date of Nov 1 which I wrote on my calendar. A few days before, I contacted them to confirm that they would be coming on that particular date. I was informed that they were just at my children's school a couple of days prior. I was shocked because when I had originally called they told me Nov 1. The girl tells me that the date that they gave me was for senior retakes and they were by appointment only. How am I supposed to know this? They never asked me if my kids were undergraduates or seniors. Then she informs me that I should have received an email stating the undergraduate picture retake day at their high school and to check my spam. (I did check after we hung up and there was nothing from Lors in my spam). Anyway she told me that there will be retakes at the studio a day in November and they will send me an email. I said how do I know I will get your email since I didn't get your other one? So she took my name and phone number down to call me. I called the studio today on November 14 to find out if they decided on a retake date in the studio yet because I didn't want to miss it. She informs me that the undergraduate retake day was Friday that just passed. I was in shock. I said nobody called me!! You were supposed to call me! She said "ma'am I didn't speak to you." I mean she didn't want me blaming her but you have to take responsibility for your place of business. I never even got an apology. I said what am I supposed to do now? I said neither one of my kids like their yearbook photo and I spent over $100 on photos that they won't let me put up on the wall. I asked to speak to a different department that does the scheduling and she said I cannot. She really didn't have much to say only that if there were any studio retake dates coming up she would call me. I don't have much confidence that I will hear from anyone from that studio. It's terrible customer service. They are severely incompetent. They make mistake after mistake and don't take responsibility. I really wish that the high school would stop using this company. Lors photography doesn't allow you to buy individual sheets, only packages, and charges a fee for ordering after picture day. lifetouch never does that), and my daughters school always used them every other year. They also don't seem to upload the proofs so you can see the pictures before ordering the packages. (If they do, it's taking a LOOOOONG time) if you work for a school and are in charge of selecting the photography company to use, this one isn't it. stick with what's tried and true read more

This is my first time reviewing anything but I feel like I need to warn people. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! I am a senior in high school. Lors was hired to take yearbook photos and photos for my classes prom. When the prom photos came out, I was disappointed to see not one photo of my friends and I. All I received from that night is 4 magnets of the same blurry photo. As for the yearbook, the photo selected was not the one I choose for the book on the website. I am incredibly disappointed. They are awful! First, they sent an email saying "pre-order" pictures which I would have done if they provided the login code info. Then, picture day happens, they misread the credit card number and I get a letter a MONTH later saying to MAIL in a check. Everyone else has pictures and I have a note saying to mail a check in! I emailed LORS three times, left a message and have been placed on hold over 40 minutes all trying to pay for pictures taken two months ago. They're unresponsive and awful. read more

I would give this business zero stars if I could. I sent in my payment for my daughter's pictures over yes a month ago and haven't received anything. I sent about 6 or 7 emails. No response. I have called about 6 or 7 times. No one picks up the phone. I had to choose the phone directory option for school admin and finally someone picked up the phone but she couldn't help me. She swore she would get someone to call or e mail me back. Nothing . My son took the retakes over a month ago we're a month ago and I've been trying to reach them multiple times via phone, email and even tried Facebook messenger. No answer via phone. email, a supposed supervisor named Austin, emailed me back saying that it was going to be fedexed and to my surprise, not really, it was not fedexed. I spent a lot of money on pictures of my senior daughters. The envelope arrived in the mail and it was filled with some random girl! I understand mistakes happen, but I sent MANY emails and left MANY messages after being sent to voicemail after being on hold for over 15 minutes. No response. That is dispicable what awful customer service they have. Also, when ordering, I asked if I could combine my twin daughters' pictures and just puchase one bigger package and they gave me this whole thing about how tech has to combine the packages and it takes about a week and they would email me. When I didn't hear anything for 2 weeks, I called again and the woman said, no, that's not a thing, you can just place the order on the phone. One person doesn't know what the other is doing. Terrible. I wish our school district would stop using them. read more
